OMG.. i've got a stye on my right eye and i pulled one eyelash over it. i heard by pulling one it can be prevented from growing more. is it true? has anyone proven this.. could this also be a superstition...

some say that what you have, in terms of eyelashes, are never replaced. however, there are no scientific studies regarding this statement. or i have just missed, having no interest in looking for it... maybe, now that you have posed the question, i may try searching about that and whatever i find, i will try to share it with you... not now, yet, of course...

i am talking about the stye lol if can be cured from pulling out an eyelash near or over the stye. after your comment, now i understand i must reconstruct my sentence and use the word "cure" instead of "prevent". like my first responder, you also pointed out about the eyelash. lol.. this is one thing i want to learn about writting. hahaha. okay i should not bring the shy factor this time. thanks sir!

well, that's okay, kumar. communication is the beginning of understanding. thus, you were able to put your situation in the proper perspective. no one is perfect, you must remember that. even your right eye, which has a stye is not perfect until the stye is removed. well, i am not a doctor and i also must admit that this is the first time i've heard about pulling an eyelash near or over the stye can cure it... there are no scientific nor medical explanation to that, i suppose.
