How to become a good writer?

During my college days I remember I admired my journalism teacher and thought that how wish I can become a good writer just like her. I even dream of putting my thoughts in a book and write a story of my life before I die. I believe then that books will remain and will past on to generations. I still like the idea, hope you can give me tip on how to become a good writer someday. Thanks.

Writers are born not made. But, I guess it depends.
Even if you are born with incredible talent you need to practice and learn how to write. It can be taught, but your imagination and creativity is something else.
I am not a professional writer but I do have a wild imagination, the problem is that I don't write very well, but I am working on it. Practice, practice, and practice. If is possible for you, take a writing class.
