So, how many meals do you myLotters have per day? Do you eat many times, and little amounts of food each time, or just a few times, with big amounts each time?

Good question! My husband and I are "all day eaters"... we usually eat 6 to 8 meals a day. In saying that, you have to understand this isn't the meat, potatoes, side item, salad, beverage and dessert types of meals. We might have tofu scrambler for "breakfast" (a vegan version of scrambled eggs), whole wheat toast a little while later with coffee...sandwiches a little while after that...perhaps past after that, and maybe even a huge bowl of brussel sprouts (our favorite thing to snack on while videogaming, believe it or not!). It's actually very rare to find us without any sort of food with us. I've actually heard it's very healthy to eat many small meals per day versus three big meals. I've heard a range of things from eating big meals can cause you to be full, therefore stretching your stomach and paving the way to obesity; to a claim that the body absorbs many more nutrients from small meals because of less work in a shorter time period...the list goes on. I'm not sure if these things are particularly true, but I know if I eat big meals, I feel like crap, quite frankly. Eating all day keeps my energy level high.

Oops! Above where I had "perhaps past after that," it should be pasta, not past. Sorry.

My husband is over weight so I try to make several small meals a day for him, so he doesn't feel so hungry all the time. He doesn't eat as much all at once that way. I only eat late lunch and dinner. But I always cook dinner of the evening.

On an average day, I will have maybe four or five meals Breakfast, lunch and dinner I never skip, and sometimes I will often get hungry around about mid-morning and in the evening a few hours after dinner, so I guess they can be classed as meals since I may have more than just a quick snack to satisfy my hunger

Really depends on the day and my schedule to be honest with you. I do not really have any formal meals during the day. When I need to eat, I eat. I do make a habit of eating something in the morning. So, yeah I suppose there's breakfast. Then its a bit sketchier as to when I can eat. Maybe I manage to get something mid day for lunch. Maybe its not until later at night when everything is done for the day. Around when dinner would be is when I eat the most. So, I suppose I eat a lot to make it count because there are times where my schedule gets away from me. I never know when my next meal will occur.

Well... I have been TRYING to stick to a diet eating breakfast, lunch and dinner but i have the habit of falling off the diet. This resulting in me finding myself in the fridge at 4 in morning eating leftovers. I wish there was some way i could make myself stick to my plan but im pretty much a food-monster =) I LOVE FOOD
