Yes there are fee's. I can't remember how much because I stopped using ebay. They charge a percentage based on your listing fee. It can add up real fast if your not careful. If your willing to pay it go for it . Then if not there is always other sites that are free like craigslist. I always use craigslist to both sell and buy stuff. It works for me especially when its free. Good luck!

I think you have to pay a little amount of fee for getting yourself a seller's account. My friend used to sell some game DVDs and he had to pay a little amount at the beginning and from then on, it was free!

eBay has several fees to sell an item. First there is a listing fee for just the use of their site for posting the item. If you want extra pictures or other features that help give your item more visibility, you pay extra for that. The listing fee is scaled based on the opening bid amount that you set. They charge little for listing at a $.01 but then you can get screwed if it doesn't get enough bids. Then there is a fee when it sells that is based on how much it sold for. The fees have gone up many many times. Right now, if you are just starting out as listing on ebay, they will monitor you super closely and you can start with up to 10 items in 30 days. Then over time they allow you to add more but you have to play by all their rules. Also, all the safeguards are in place for the buyers, not the sellers. eBay does little to help the sellers and seems only to be focused on bringing in the buyers. Which is odd since they make no money off the buyers except for being able to charge higher fees to the sellers if there are many bidders fighting the price up for an item. I left eBay last year when they raised the fees again. There are many other sites that will treat you far better.

posting your product in ebay is for free though the problem there is how yorr buyer will trust you. buyer will not going to buy item from newbies as they look for previews buy comments or sellers rating if the seller can be trusted or not. when i start there. i managed to have good rating first by buying item thee and when my rating is enough thats the only time i post my item for sale. its not bcoz its ebay it means theres no scam there. every site have scam so better be carful with your transaction.
