Hi...,
How many of you have tried doing surveys at home? I am definitely one of them also. I belonged to a lot of them I have a couple of issues. Yes I do believe some are legitimate. But, I get so frustrated with them. How many times, for those of you who have done it, They send you a new survey and after it seems like 50 questions they tell you do not qualify ? Come on I know its happened to you. I can't help but feel like I answered the survey. So they don't have to pay me, they say I did not qualify.
Or the ones where you have to try at least one product to earn points or get paid, Maybe its just me. But, I would like to earn money not points or monthly sweeptakes. I admit I still answer a couple from time to time. That does not promise me points or a gift.
This looking for work from home is the hardest job I have ever did. I wish I could get paid for looking, I would at least get 5G's a month.
Anyway, do you have any surveys on line stories to share ?

Yeah MySurvey is the best. I've gotten points for two referals. Most people I try to refer don't seem to believe me, so I've given up on trying referals. It takes a while to earn money, but I've done pretty well with them. And I did get to sample one product, an electric shaver which I love. They also send a newsletter.

yeah, I have never tried to get referrals, just thouht since it seems people hereare looking for legitimate survey sites I would attempt to do so here. I have not done any product reviews but do get a pamphlet to fill out once every three months about my purchases for that month. They even sent me a cool little organizer thing to put the pamphlet in and store reciepts.

I am so glad that you posted this. I could not agree more. A couple of days ago I was doing a survey on some disney movie and I spent at least 20 minutes on the survey (maybe more). And then they tell me that I was not qualified for the survey. It is so frustrating. Another thing that gets me is at all of these survey sites, they have you fill out your personal profile. I am married with 3 small children. And they keep sending me surveys on dating and online dating. I guess these days they don't care and think that I might want to cheat on my husband. But yes, surveys can be very irritating.

Thanx for responding, But, I must say, you are to funny. They sending you surveys about dating. Thats one of the reason's I think they do get you to answer their surveys without having to pay you. The questions that you have to answer to qualify, are probably the actual survey questions. They say they send you surveys based on your profile, I guess you agree with me, not really. They just pretty much send out surveys.

I have lots of survey sites that I do. I also do a few others. I agree lots are for points, for rewards. Alot of the rewards are for gift cards, so I will take that. I have found that the worst ones to qualify for is the OTX surveys. I usually just skip them.

Believe me, I feel your pain. I've joined just about every survey site there is, and have not found most of them to be worthwhile. I have gotten payouts for some, though. And actually, I've had the best luck with the ones that offer points. Usually, the points are redeemable for a PayPal payment or gift cards, so you end up getting real money in the long run. Here are some that I have received payments from:
MySurvey: I only get a survey once every few days, but I almost always qualify for the survey because they only send surveys that match your profile. Even if you don't qualify, you still get 5 or 10 points for doing the screening questions. I actually just cashed out 3,000 points for a $30 check this afternoon.
Global Opinion Panels (Synovate): Again, surveys are occasional, but I almost always qualify. I have received payout from them once before, and I'm nearing another $25 payout.
Harris Poll: I get a survey from this site once every 3-4 days usually. I qualify for about half, and I get 30 points even for those I don't qualify for. This site doesn't have cash payouts, but you can redeem your points for a variety of gift cards. I just redeemed 2500 points for a $20 Amazon.com gift card.
Global Test Market: I get a lot of surveys from this site, usually at least one per day. I qualify at a lower rate, but I have gotten enough points to reach payout before.
SurveySpot: My inbox is flooded with invitations to SurveySpot surveys. While I have received payout from them several times in the past, they recently changed to a new points system and I have qualified for fewer and fewer surveys since then. Still, as they do pay when you reach the required number of points, it might be worth a try. Your demographics might qualify for more surveys than mine.
Good luck!

I gave up on paid surveys a long time ago to be honest with you
Nowadays, it's hard to find a decent survey site that offers a good payout. To earn even a dollar, it seems like you are expected to complete a ton of long and not necessarily amusing surveys

Hey! Now, you're an allstar get paid, but not with these "online surveys". All they do is tell you that you're not qualified so why continue to answer these surveys? They're not gonna give you anything or tell you that you've won a million dollars or say perhaps a thousand dollar shopping spree.
So, you know what I would do? I would just delete them from my computer. No sense in answering them, right. They're just harrassing and full of you know what. Hang in there! There's something out there for you.

Hi..Sounds just like my story about surveys lol I got caught up with all these "make money answering simple questions or polls" and found myself with over 20 survey sites yet getting no where with it. I did find maybe 1 or 2 good sites out of the rest because most of them only provide sweepstakes and points which totally sucks! but I am still trying to find good ones. Good Luck!

I do surveys for a site that gives points that you can redeem for cash or products. They send you a check by mail and you can cash out once you get to $10. I have made abou $70 in the past year, and am going to cash out $30 more real soon. It took awhile to start getting enough surveys to start making any sort of real cash but going O.K. now I think. I have never been offered a survey where you have to complete an offer and they do not take an unreasonable amount of time. Longer surveys get you more points.
My blog http://thedonofsustainability.blogspot.com/
has a link to mysurvey on the right hand side about half way down. I have even gotten family members to do surveys for them and they are all happy with it!

I agree with you 100%. Half the time when I take a moment to take one, I get almost 80% through it, and then a message comes up and tells me that they are sorry but I don't qualify for the survey at this time. So knowing all my details (because we do provide them with it when signing up) why send me a survey that I don't qualify for? First off, why don't they ask you the questions that they need to know before making you take the survey for nothing. I hate it when that happens, and it's for that reason that I no longer bother.

Lightspeed surveys are very good and they send you a lot of surveys so if you don't qualify for one you have a good shot at others. Survey Spot is another one. Yes you don't get a lot and I think you have to put a lot of time in them. I used to go to the library cause I didn't have a computer but now that I have one I am trying to put more time in to see if you can make money. I would suggest sign up to as many as you can. There are a lot where you get five dollars just for signing up. It's the same as mystery shopping you can make money but you have to put time in and do the work. You can also try focus groups. Just type is focus groups in your search engine it will take you to a link where you can sign up and see if you get called. They tell you how much the focus group is and what is required. I know everyone is looking for the next get rich quick online job. But if those really existed don't you think we would all be doing it. And one more point some of those surveys where you earn points can be redeemed for cash. I like doing them and yes I do get frustrated at times when you get so far and then you don't qualify or another one is we have enough of that limit of those reponses. But I did make some money when I was at the library. Look for the ones that go directly to your paypal account you get paid faster that way. Some are changing from points to cash. Good luck hope this helped you.

Dear TG,
Making money online is not so easy as you think! There are many people who claim to be successful but are not. I am one of those who has really tried a survey site after getting scammed by another. I have not really earned great amounts but merely changes.
Also, for 20-45 minutes of toil, they pay us a dollar or sometimes notoriously evade that by telling that we have not qualified! That is why I am here at mylot!

Truckergirl, I know exactly what you mean. SurveySavvy, one of the two sites I found that pays money, frustrates me by having me take a survey, waste my time, then tells me I don't qualify. They are the kind of site like myLot who pays you, if your referrals get paid. But it's so hard to qualify for their surveys. And I've never received money for a referal getting paid. My AOL survey is also like that. They pay money. But sometimes after taking this long survey, they say, you don't qualify. Every blue moon I make up to $4.00 on the AOL survey and about $1.00 on Survey Savvy. MySurvey and Synovate are the only surveys I haven't had bad experiences of having been rejected after wasting my time. I think Synovate has points too, but I think I did a University of Michigan survey with them and am prepared to wait for the money to accumulate. I wait for MySurvey to almost reach 10000 points then I'll cash in, which won't be long.
