we do get nervous when we dont know what is instore for us. specially this one that is very important to you it is natural that you get nervous. well it is better that he interview you and want to have a talk with you, than rejecting you with you not knowing the reason. not knowing the reason you can not make it better. if he tells you what you need to do so that next time your research will be better then that is good. he might give you more pointers and good strategy so you can come up with a better one. dont worry.

i know exactly how you feel. i am in the same situation as you are, the nervous thing. i have been a bum too for a year now coz i'm really nervous on what will a job interview be. its not my first time to have a job, its just that every time there's a job interview, i do feel nervous and what follows next is that i'm totally lost. i just couldn't control it, wish there was a way to ease this nervousness.

i am like that too...
all my interviews i get nervous. they understand that. the most important thing you should do is always look the person in the eye when you are having a conversation and always be honest...
smile a little to loosen up a bit. hope this helps :)
and GOODLUCK!

Wish you the best. I would advice you to study hard for your interview and if you know the areas in which you bluffed, you can correct yourself.

I can understand it well enough, my English isn't perfect eaither and I don't claim it to be. But you just need to take a deep breath and relax. Trust in yourself and you should be fine. Its okay to be stressed out, everyone goes through that. The problem is how its handled. I'm sure you'll do well, as long as you let yourself believe it.

First thing have confidence on you. You have capacity, enthusiasm to work and grasping capacity to learn the work. Then why should you be nervous? Your English is good. Do not under estimate yourself. Be bold and proceed with confidence. You will get good name. You will succeed in your attempt. Success Success everywhere success. Grab it my friend. You deserve it.

be yourself at the interview. he obviously thought of you and is interested in interviewing you. if he asks you a question answer truthfully. if you draw a blank tell him you feel nervous right not, but you will do the best job and work hard at the position he is offering you. i hope you get the job. let us know. the best to you.

Im sending prayers your way Shan !!!
Why dont you tell the professor that you get nervous at interviews. We're all humans and Im sure he'll understand and he'll know!!
Try this trick....imagine yourself surrounded in GREEN light....they say green calmes the nerves. So try to wear something green and visualize you're totally surrounded in green. I know it'll help you calm down.
But, still the best way is to let him know you want this more than anything and you're nervous.
Let us know how you do.......bless you!!!
