My girlfriend got her first laptop

My girlfriend was very exciting yesterday when she got her first laptop computer from the store. She took home and browse around the internal content. She hasn't gotten her internet hook up yet, but she told me that she already placed order for the DSL to be installed either tomorrow or the day after.
Last night, she play the laptop game until 3:00 A.M. in the morning, and she still play after she got up this morning. Unbelievable! I won't simply play games with my computer. I hope that she might learn something useful by using this new laptop, Because she simply doesn't know much about computer at all.

oh duuuude, that also happened to me... All I can tell you form my experience was, try to show her the sunshine... try to say something like "did you know you'll get at least 2 pounds fatter each week?" it's serious true i she keeps up with that attitude... or you can get her a Wii Fit XD

She was so preoccupied with those games yesterday, and I couldn't tell you how focus she was. Anyway, she said she will something useful from the computer. I hope that she will keep up her promise on that.

No, at least something like checking information, and online access to her account. Manage her finance better by applying the online free software. She needs to know some of those. She is a grown up, not a kid anymore, you know.

Once she gets her new internet connection to go along with her nice new laptop, it is likely that within a week or so she will forget all about the games on her PC because she will be so busy surfing the net.
Maybe ask her sometimes to look something up on the internet for you. Perhaps something that interests both of you.
When I first got my laptop, exploring the games was something I did also. Now I don't even play them. Ha! maybe introduce her to MyLot.

She has to learn to manage her finance by applying online free software such as Mint.com. She can access her bank account to check her financial status, and manage her money better.
