Are your tired feet the first thing you think about when you get home from work? Do you immediately shed your shoes? Or do you take a while before your shoes come off for more comfortable slippers or bare feet? Does your entire body relax, just by removing your shoes? Share your routine.

Well, after a long day out my shoes are the first things that I take off when I reach home. I don't walk around the house with my shoes on, so I take them off in the lobby and put on the slippers. Sometimes it's really good to rid your feet of abusing shoes.

...Hi Biomechanoid, I think that you are with the majority of people who feel so much more relaxed when they get home and kick off the old shoes. You made me laugh with your comment about the "abusing" shoes because that is really what they feel like sometimes, in fact most of the time. I like to go around the house bare foot, in the winter I just have to find my socks, for warmth. Thanks so much for your response, take good care.

Yes, i will immediately take-off my shoes whenever i am leaving the office and sitting inside my car. I prefer to wear my sandals, which i kept below my sitting place in my car. I can't wait to take-off my shoes because it really hurt my feet and toes. I feels comfort to wear my sandals around but i am not allowed to wear sandals in my office most of the time. During at my home, i prefer to wear my indoor slippers, which is very comfortable to my feet.

...Hi there se7enthbird, You made me laugh with that last line. I can just see your little boy following you with his bare feet. Cute, like a commercial on television. Your wife cares a lot, by making sure you have your creature comforts, it all seems to work well. I like to walk bare foot as well, only the winter time forces me to find my socks. Take care and thanks for stopping by.

Yes, the first thing I take off is shoes and then the hand bag. I feel so comfortable when I take off the shoes and move back to my house chappals. I love my house chappal and I use it if I go out somewhere nearby like to buy vegetables or grocery from nearby store. I also feel so relaxed after removing my office hand bag.

...Hi there daliaj, I find that taking my shoes off my feet seems to allow my body to destress, not that the shoes are stressful, but the unbinding releases me and I relax. Certain things confine us and I think shoes are one of them. Tight undergarments are another. Glad to know you have your chappals waiting to give you comfort. Thanks for your response and take care always.

..Hi theonehush, Congratulations on your five hundredth posting, you did it here
"o). Good job. It seems these are the two things, once we get in the door, that most of us do. Check the refrigerator and out of our shoes, or vice-versa.
The increased comfort level is what we are looking for. Thanks so much for your input and take care.

Hi there:) yes, i definitely kick off my shoes as soon as i walk through the door though sometimes, i would momentarily forget about the whole ordeal of taking off my shoes and rush straight to the kitchen and rummage through my fridge.

.Hi there snowstormz, It's your place of comfort and when we get home, we feel as though we hsve found our refuge from the outside rumblings. Taking our shoes off is
perfectly understandable, because we feel that, or most of us probably feel, that our shoes confine our feet and we want to be free. I know I do. I can also appreciate running to the refrigerator. "o). Take care and thanks.
