If this was a game of chess, the Cavaliers would have the rest of the NBA in check. They pulled off a major trade getting Antawn Jamison, the Cav's give up, Ilgauskas, Thornton, and Skinner plus their first round pick. This is a great deal for Cleveland especially if Washington buys out Ilgauskas contract which would allow the center to resign with Cleveland.
The next move is the Boston Celtics, they need to do something to keep up with the Cav's.

With the acquisition of Antawn Jamison from the trade makes the Cleveland Cavaliers even more stronger and their dream of finally snaring a championship crown for the town is just a matter of playing good basketball. Even though they added another superstar to their roster, they have to beat those other contenders in the East and the one from the West. They have to get their acts together, team chemistry is one of the major factors in winning a championship.

I agree. Jamison is a key acquisition like Gasol to the Lakers. This solidifies Cleveland's offense...
The only thing now is for Cleveland to establish Chemistry in time for the playoffs.
They lost Z but gained Jamison. I'd say this a great trade for Cleveland and Washington who are getting rid of salary.

They still need a backup center. What happens if shaq fouls out in a game against a western powerhouse?
If shaq is in foul trouble against teams with centers like D12, KG, Gasol who would match up against them?
At least Z even in his not so prime times can make a decent effort. I know he's not as good as he was, but he still has something to offer.
Jamison is a good acquisition, not better than ama're who can play both forward and center positions but good enough.

No I dont see Shaq playing like he is now in the playoffs, hes going to wore down and I dont believe in the other 2 J.J. Hickson or Anderson Varejao to playi at a champion caliber team.
