scared to be on the dentist chair

I had dinner with an old friend last night. We talked about a lot of topics and one of the things we discussed was about her dentist. I noticed that she had her braces for more than two years now and asked her what's taking it so long. Then she told me that she didn't want to go back to her dentist after an incident happened during her last checkup. She said her dentist kissed her while she was on the dentist chair. She was too shocked to react. She said that her dentist still keeps on calling her and asking her out but according to her he's already married with two kids. She has denied every invitation but the guy is really persistent. It has been a year now and she still hasn't come back. Her braces are already wearing out and needs attention but she doesn't know what to do because she said there was some rule where a dentist should not touch another dentist's work. Is that true? I feel bad for her. Let me know what you guys think about this. thanks.
