People, I was just wondering. I read somewhere America consumes about 2.8 acres of pizza each day. Has this fact anything to do with why some Americans are overweight? No offense. Just curious. I'm a hard gainer.

Its not so much what you eat, but how much of it you eat. You can have anything you want, as long as you eat so in moderation. Most americains tend to adopt some unhealthy habits such as not exercising enough, eating to much, and over all not trying. Most advertizers thrive on this and push the hell out of weight-loss suplments.

Well my parents are living in America, and yes they have very bad habits because the life is so fast so they eat in many fast food restaurants so they don't have idea or they do but it's more easy eat pizza and fast food to make it early for them. I think thats why , of course many people exercise , many easy life, America is one of the best countries with best technology so the people is more lazy .

While I think we Americans have very poor eating habits, obesity tends to go beyond so much more than what a person eats. Obesity is a real medical condition/disease, just like so many other things. Losing weight is not always about eating less and moving more. It does help, but it is not the cure-all. Studies have shown that only 2% of people who drop a significant amount of weight through diet and exercise are actually successful at keeping it off for the long term.

Being over weight has nothing to do with eating too much,I believe when people stop bing active they put on weight.Exercise loses weight.I do hate that just because someone is over weight people think right away that they eat too much.The4re are alot of other reasons to become over weight.
