O Fortuna is actually a part of the soundtrack of Final Fantasy. Since then, various movies, dramas used O fortuna as their theme song. One thing I like about Final Fantasy is their OST. From sound effects, to medieval songs, it has everything. But honestly, I don't like the game itself..only the soundtrack. As for "O fortuna misheard lyrics", there are several parodies about this song..but which one did you watch?

O Fortuna is the first and last movement of the Carmina Burana suite by Carl Orff. Based on some original writings by some randy old mediaeval German monks, apparently. I like the verses where the roasted swan is bemoaning its fate - along the lines of "There I was, all white and lovely. Now it's Christmas, I'm roasting nicely ..."

I didn't know it was in final fantasy. I never played the games. I watch at least 3 other misheard lyrics. I was comparing which one is the funniest. It is fun to watch them all

The real song is quite good and I think it is pretty outdated and the music sounds a bit old! But, the misheard lyrics are really good! Ha ha..... Really cool, I would love to apreciate the one who wrote the lyrics!

Yes the real song is a masterpiece but it became hilarious now because of technology. I hope more parody like this come.

The original was written in the 1930s, and was Orff's way of rebelling against the Nazi threat. As a lover of all types of classical music, I put it right up there with the 1812 Overture. How can classical music sound DATED?! Okay, Vaughn Williams - I get your drift...

I sang it with a choir. Pretty uplifting stuff - whatever language it's in. I'll check out the link though - I need a good laugh!

If you are looking for medieval music then I would recommend Blackmore's Night. As for that song you mentioned I will have a look on youtube for it.

How come those cookies can lead to Gonorrhea? lol. The video has a sense of humor. That was a bit funny for me. I like it how the photos matches with the lyrics. And honestly, it's my first time to know about the song. Thanks now I know that O Fortuna song has been used with different lyrics by people for fun or anything. I also saw ather O furtuna parodies. Now it gets more funny how people changed the lyrics over time.lol
