i love traveling with friends and enjoyed it very much. however, it is kind of difficult with little ones as they are little and have a short attention span. Especially on a plane that takes more than 10 hours of flying, what is the best thing to do to avoid disastrous flight experience?
any response is welcome and thanks in advance

My disabled son was 4 months old when we went on a short plane ride to Portugal. So I managed to get him used to flying on planes at a young age. I gave him a bottle to drink at the time of take off and landing. Then when he was 13 months old I took him on another short flight to Latvia. He was 20 months old on a plane ride from London to Cape Town that took 12 hours. He sat quietly for the whole flight and amazed people. I was 18 weeks pregnant when I left on that trip to South Africa. My latest flight was when my disabled son was 3 years old and my baby daughter was 11 months old. We traveled on another long haul plane journey from London to Vancouver. I sat by the window, my daughter sat in the middle seat and my son sat on the aisle seat. It was a quiet flight and I kept them both well behaved. I have bottles ready when my children want one and I let them sleep in a comfortable way. I have never put them in a sky cot. The baby in that, not mine, screamed for most of the time on the flight from Vancouver to London. I am very keen on traveling. I need a ground floor room when it comes to accommodation with my disabled son. He isn't able to walk and he is heavy to carry. Good airlines like Virgin Atlantic and British Airways are understanding and helpful with young children and disabled people.
