The Bachelor or Bachelorette with "real people", what do you think?

As I watched Jake take the girls to St. Lucia, I started to realize every single one of them had a great shape and could pull off a bikini. The Bachelor or The Bachelorette tend to only pick people that are in very good shape, or very good looking. I would think these types of people wouldn't have THAT hard of a time finding love.
So how about a Bachelor for 'real people'?? I'm sure there are plenty of people looking for love besides the perfect looking people they pick for the show now. Would you watch? Do you think it would be more or less interesting?
I think it would be more interesting b/c there would be less people who are only in it for their careers and be more people who are looking for a real connection.

I don't think people would be as interested in watching average people. I think a lot of people watch The Bachelor for all the drama that goes on. The show wouldn't be as interesting if there weren't gals like Vienna that the audience loves to hate.
I agree with you.. More to Love was not about the average woman.

yeah I guess it is the drama that draws people in. But don't you think there would still be drama with some average women too? Just b/c they are average doesn't mean they wouldn't be catty and jealous. In fact, they might be more catty and jealous, especially if they've had hard time getting dates. Well, I'd watch at least :)

This show has already been done. It aired on the FOX Network and was produced by the same company that does the Bachelor. It has average sized women (all size 14 or larger) with a man who wore something like a size 38 pant. It was an ok show. Had the same drama that the Bachelor has but was not rated nearly as high. I would venture a guess that was because it did not have the visual appeal. The guy on that show handed out promise rings instead of roses.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the show was called More to Love (I think).
