Hello fellow cat lovers,
I know we've all experienced it before. Our favorite feline friend does something so adorable, cute and funny that we just can't wait to share it. Well here is one of many personal experiences. I have quite a few cats in my home. They range in age from about 3 or 4 years to the 2 newest baby kittens. The kittens are sisters. One night as I was trying to grab a few hours of sleep on the couch, one of the babies jumped on my chest then went to my neck and proceeded to try to nurse. The kittens were at the age where they still could nurse but were ready to start on moist food. As ticklish as I am, I went into hysterics laughing, but I didn't want to scare the baby. She wouldn't stop. I couldn't stop laughing. As I write this I can almost feel the goose bumps from that. Finally she stopped trying to nurse. But I didn't stop laughing. When I turned around to find my kitten, she was perched on the arm of the couch with this very serious look on her little face. It was almost as though she was asking me to grow up. She couldn't figure out why I was so wierd. There she sat, all poised and serious. Well, I laughed even harder. Here's this month old kitten trying to tell me to grow up. That was sooooo adorable. I don't think it gets any better than the antics of a cat.

Thats funny!!! I have this cat, we dont know what breed he is because we found him in a cardboard box on the side of the road, and he is the best lover kitty ever! He will lay on my shoulders all day, no matter what im doing! He loves the shower, hell just jump right in there with ya! Also he has this thing about sinks, im not sure where it stems from but when ever we vist anywhere with him, like the inlaws, hell sleep in the sink! one time when he was fairly young he pooped in their sink and it was just too funny!

That is so funny!! I'm laughing with you. First, let me commend you on taking in a kitty. It sounds like he has a WONDERFUL home. Some of my cats like the sink also. I can't say that anyone has pooped in there yet but you never know with cats. They're always up to something aren't they?

Kittens can be wired like that. And, I thought my cat Precious was wired like that. When he was a kitten he'd do the exact same thing, only it was to my upper lip. And, somehow he managed to purr during the whole thing. It was sooo cute. cats are so cute that way aren't they.
Don't worry I bet she'll try it again.

They are very cute like that. Maybe Precious is trying to teach you how to keep a stiff upper lip. HAAAAA. My cats like to purr also. If fact, the other night when the sister of my little 'neck nursing' kitten helped herself to part of my pillow, she was purring so loud that it woke me up. All I could do is snuggle with that sweet little baby.
I hope you're right and she does try it again. It'll be twice as much fun the second time.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, smileonstar. They certainly are fun and cute. May I ask why you miss your cats? If it's too personal you don't have to answer. Hope everything is O.K!!!

We had our cat Smyles since October and he still as crazy as ever. He still loves to take showers with me. He also loves to eat snacks such as Cheetos, cinnamon rolls and cookies. He eats vegetables as well.

That is so cute. One of my cats loves toast, especially rye toast. My boyfriend's cat just about takes showers with him too. He also helps himself to the popcorn bowl by putting his whole head in the bowl and making a mess to get one kernel.

It is interesting. Cats never cease to interest me. I would love to change places with them for a day so I can think what they truly think and vice versa.
I'm sorry you miss your cat.
