I liked the photo of the photographer. I often thought about learning to take good pictures. I do not have any need to want to become a great photographer. Just to take better pictures. I too have a camera cell phone and a so so camera I picked up at a store. Seems I would have to invest a sum, to be able to take a good picture. So I have not done that, money being short and all. I thought, there must be some usefull information so I could learn to use the cameras I have, and produce better pictures from them.
I do not have enough interest in it, to take a class. Perhaps, someone who has maybe a few good tips on how to take a better picture with a cheap camera would share with us.
You know, help stamp out bad pictures?

Well i think u don´t need a professional camera untill u r satisfied with ur pictures quality. First of all u can try to make ur pictures quality better by checking other photographers. Good communities are deviantart.com or flickr.com ... there u can find inspiration from other photographers. Then if u don´t like colors that are coming from ur camera or u just don´t like something on it u can learn how to use Photoshop. Its a great program and if u don´t know it yet, it is very helpfull for every photographer. I also don´t have a great professional camera, but i am trying to take a good shots. If I don´t like color or quality of the shot (too dark, too light) it can be always fixed in Photoshop.
