Its not easy to give of your trust especially with the so many experienced you had when it comes to trusting people especially with your past relationships. I think you can always know whether you can trust that type of person that your girl friend is now. You will be able to know with the kind of personality that she has, with the friends that she goes out with and how often you get together and get to know each other. Dont compare her though to your ex's because she is totally a different person. Just be careful and be cautious if you dont wanna be hurt again.

Trust is very important in a relationship so, if you don't trust your current girlfriend, you're dooming the relationship. Every relationship, like every person, is unique so you have to look at the person your girlfriend is and not let your own personal baggage get in the way. I'm a woman and I've had relationships go bad in my past as well but I don't let what others have done cloud my opinions of anyone else. I've trusted my husband since we met and he hasn't let me down. If I had brought my distrust into the relationship, it might not have lasted.

Trust is very important in any type of relationship. Without it all parties in the relationship will never completely be themselves.
That being said, once trust is lost it very hard to regain. I have had a few relationships where the trust was broken and I have to be honest and say that it was over after that point. Although I tried to hold on to those particular relationships long after the trust was broken...I finally realized there is no way of getting it back so we moved on our seperate ways.

Thou what a confusing this question? If I have the same case I will ask to that girl like an interrogation, ask her not to lie. Give a chance to someone and maybe she will change her habit for you. One reckless is enough, it means that if she lie you once then don't trust her anymore don't talk to her. She is not good for you.
