My sister is experiencing body chills lately. She had undergone caesarian operation last Feb. 3. Is it really normal to be able to experience a sudden drop of body temperature in as low as 34 degrees centigrade a few days after surgery? She told me she experienced it 3 times already when in fact we have a warm climate in our country. Any tips on how she can avoid this from happening again?

i guess so. i am not into medical practices but i guess yes. because the body is still adjusting to the surgery. just wait for the temperature to be normal. but if the temperature is changing, maybe you should consult a doctor for further examination and lab test. nevertheless, it is a caesarian operation, you should consult a medical practioner about that change of temperature.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have sent a text message to my sister that she should consult a doctor as soon as possible.

It sounds to me like you're sister may have an infection. If she hasn't consulted a Doctor or nurse she should. She could also be bleeding internally and not know it. I really think she should consult a medical professional as soon as possible. I do hope everything is ok.

hi pinklady chills usually come with an infection somewhere in the body and since she is recovering from surgery I would get her to see her doctor and be checked out for an infection someplace in her body, as chills come with fevers so she has undoubtedly run a fever then came the chills. Get her to her surgical doctor as soon as possible to be checked up.
