Good day, myLot family. I have a hard time memorizing the names of people I meet, so I don't always remember them if I don't meet them again. I had this booklet written by Dale Carnegie which tells me how influential for a person to remember names. So I tried it. Every morning when I first get out of the house and see my neighbors, I tried greeting them with their names. "Hey, Joy.", "Good morning, John", "Jonas, it's cold this morning, isn't it?". Even if I have nothing important to tell them I tried telling them anything as long as I mention their names. And, WOW! It's like magic. Everyone in the neighborhood seems to like me more than anyone else. More and more new people greets me even if I haven't met them yet. So, I took efforts in asking others about their names. The next time we met, I'm the first one to greet them mentioning their names. Calling people by their names works like a huge magnet. It draws everyone close to you. You can try it.
