how would you describe your favorite color to a blind person since birth??

warning!! white and black color are of exceptions to the rule..
red is my favorite color because it signifies bravery, pure love and is more likely attach to the characteristic of person to be strong and well determined in life..if i were to describe my favorite color to a blind person since birth i would ask him just a simple question."have he ever been in love or felt true love to a person, a friend or lover or a family member? and had he felt in his own perspective that he has been sincerely loved by any person around him?? if he answers "YES" well, that's the time that he knows the color red.

I would use their other senses to describe it. My favorite color is green. So I would give them certain things to touch, smell and taste. Basil, for example, I think is a perfect flavor and smell to go with green. As well as the smell of freshly cut grass. Let them feel and smell bunches of differnt leaves. To me, green is cool, refreshing, peaceful. I would use their other senses to convey that. I think that using touch, taste and smell would be more effective at describing colors than words, words can describe the feeling that the color evokes for you but that's as far as they can go.

Well, my favorite color is green. Well, i know this is odd but it's just an example. I'll tell him that when you think of green, you think of making love. So if he's making love just think of green. I'll also explain to him that green is the color of nature, so, I'll let him experience going to a mountain and once he reach the top of the mountain, I'll ask him how was he's experience. His answer is another example of color green. that's it. hehhe

A very interesting topic here. Wow. Its challenging.
But like you, my favorite color is red too.
I would go on by explaining like this, it is a color which gives you an instant pang of enthusiasm its full of Energy and vibrance. It is the color of our blood, the most essential fluid. Its the color which signifies the passion of love to your beloved.
Simply put "It is the best color God made".
I am sure he would understand.
