Does neyo write songs based on his experiences?

They say that for an effective songwriter/artist to catch his audience's attention is by writing based on his own experiences. neyo writes beautiful songs. Most of them are bittersweet for instance "Go on girl" and "So you can cry" Do you think extracts his ideas from his own experiences?

Exactly. Oh so you are unsure if he writes songs from his past experiences? Well, I really have no idea. If you find some information regarding the history of his songs, let me know.

if your a writer of songs, poems and other stuffs, its very common that you write things based on how you experienced them, because as a writer my self. i wouldn't feel connected to my work if i didn't somehow experienced them or thought about them or relate to them personally, i tried writing things that i normally wouldn't do. but after that i feel like my work is not enough that the piece is some how insufficient. so if neyo writes beautiful songs i think its very likely that he has experienced these things or want to experience these thing or imagined himself experiencing this thing for it to be a good piece.

Yes I love his songs. Actually I don't know much about him. Like foe instance his profile etc. All I know is that his songs are very soothing and you can sing along with it.

Hi, mavieserrano728. Yes, I believe that Neyo writes songs based on his love life and the life that he desires to share with another woman. He writes his own songs. And he is very talented. And cute at that too!
