I first saw him in Amazing Race with Amber only to find out he started out with Survivor first. He impress me with his villain ways and I like him and hate him too at the same time. Now that he is back in Survivor Heroes VS Villain, me and my friend feel that he is the Hero of the Villain. The more I watch, the more I am impressed with him.
What about you? Do you know him? Like him or hate him? Or both?

I like Rob, honestly don't remember if I liked him or not in his past season but in this season I think he's a good guy. I was wondering how he got to be a villain since he seems to be the only one that cares about things. He cares so much that it made him pass out! I'm cheering for him over most of the other villains, but in the end I want a Hero to win

I see. If you just started watching this season survivor, I guess Rob made a very good impression among the others Villians. I heard that he wasn't that nice person when in the previous Survivor series but I am not sure how bad he was but as I saw him in Amazing Race and that's when I thought he is really the person playing the game well, be it Amazing Race or Survivor. Hopefully a real Hero wins (and not just by their labeling or by the clan the belongs to, but rather, a person with the Hero trait's win.)

I can't figure it out either. He's such a tool, but at the same time, I knd of like him. I've know about him and Amber since they were first on Survivor. They got engaged at the finale. This is his third time on Survivor. I think I like him more now than I did in previous seasons. Although in the episode last night, I think he might have faked some of the drama. We'll see.....

I know that he has been in Survivor a few times before. Hopefully he will go back to Amazing race as well. And yes, it does looks a bit drama but it makes this episode more interesting. At least you can see him really working and controlling the situation and making himself a useful person and one that you won't want to go without until you are in or almost in the finals. I really like him more and more...

In past seasons, Rob was the cocky boy that went around making pronouncements about how great he was and how stupid everyone else was. He was a young arrogant "kid" and I don't remember liking him very much at all. I did think he was entertaining to watch though. Marriage has changed Rob for the better. He is much calmer now and I think much more trustworthy too. He really has become the "hero" of that tribe. I hope he does well!!
If a Villain has to win.. I would like it to be Rob. He is the only Villain I really like.
I think Russell has claimed the "Cocky Villain" role at that camp anyway. I can't wait to see that smug little man get his butt booted from the game.

I liked him from the first Survivor that he was on. I had to watch him on The Amazing Race because I was so happy that Amber won that Survivor with Rob coming in second.
I do think that he gets alot of footage while I would like to see more of some of the other contestants too. Boston Rob is an asset to his tribe and they know it. I bet he will be around for a while.

warvial,
I must say that Boston Rob is the savior for the villains this series and I just cannot think what will actually happen if he had not build a fire.
Absolutely appalling when I just could not help wondering why in the world they can behave like it is a picnic when it is not. No organization, no discipline and no sense of wanting to survive - I mean how could they not work on their shelter when the elements are so brutal.
So, as I have commented earlier in another discussion, that Rob is indeed God sent for the villains. I really hope that they will really do something for their camp especially the shelter.

warvial,
I am just glad that he is around!
I know what you mean here and I would take that as he is changing his tactics in this series. Understandable...considering the fact that his competition would already picked up his tactics and antics from the previous series.
He is truly an exemplary leader of the villain tribe and it is evident on the second episode where he took charge at the immunity challenge for his team. An awesome performance where he steered his tribe to victory against all odds and coming from way behind.
Now that the villains have won the essentials to keep their camp dry, I just hope that Rob will take charge again and get that TENT up!!!
Way to go, Boston ROB!!

Yeah! Way to go! Boston Rob! I am just glad that we won't need to sit through the series watching the same old people from different series but using the same old strategy. I mean if people already know how you played, if you remained the same, then you will be the first to go...
And seeing how Rob changed from the usual style, it's something "refreshing".

hi, thanks for sharing. Like I replied to the above mylotters, it is really this Survivor Heroes vs Villains season that makes me felt very impressed by Rob's action.
Unlike previously, he sometimes portray himself as a sly and cunning person. But now it seems like he is the one of the few taking responsibility for the Villain tribe unlike some of them who just keep whining about their condition and how they felt about Rob's control over the challenge which got them their immunity.
And hopefully now they got the tent and stuffs, they will have a higher morale and not see Rob as an opponent and oust him away when chances arises.
