How to know if your discussion is original and not the plagiarized copy??

Dear mylotters: Response at your own risk!!
I would like to know, that last night Feb, 18, 2010, as I am browsing my three discussion whom I submit last night of Feb. 17, 2010. I just found out the next day that one of my discussion is missing when it is about my time to reply on those fellow mylotters who comments on my discussion. I could not find it, until I search the interest section category under eating where My discussion belong. I still could not see and so I open my email and i just found out that it was deleted to my surprise it say I violate discussion guideline having a plagiarized copy which is untrue. It is now my practice to put a date and a time whenever I posted a discussion of mine for protection of my copyright.
So I am not contented until I check a portion of my discussion run a search in the plagiarism checker, so I just found out that my discussion is blatantly copy word per words. I notice the listing in the google search engines my discussion is ahead on the top listed 17 hours ahead than the plagiarized copy which indicates 16 hours. So I know for the fact that the person responsible for copying the content of my discussion publish my own discussion on the same night an hour after I make my discussion here in mylot. This is the third time I found out my discussion is being copy and this time it is a blogger who copy it and post it as his own without even giving credit to my name. Another cases of intellectual rights violation of copyright. I know for in fact that many discussion made here are being copied either by a member of this site or an outsider.
This is annoying and very upsetting on my part as I like to voiced out my opinion, then my discussion is being axed and the most disappointing part whoever who copy my discussion he/she like to appear that i plagiarized my own discussion and it is reverse that i am the one who copy. How dare he/she is who likes to copy a discussion then giving a bad name on my part which is very ridiculous. The only consolation the site rectify my discussion which been pulled out and return to its rightful places. Whoever who copy my discussion, you know who you are, this is the link in my lot discussion http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2256229.aspx, and the plagiarized copy which submit by the blogger an hour after my discussion appear here, http://tambokekoy.blogspot.com/, the plagiarizer just change my title of the discussion and the whole contents are all copy from my discussion so it turn out it become the basis when the admin deleted my discussion which later they rectify.
How would you react in case this happen to you, that you make your own original discussion made up by your own thoughts which you come into reality by writing it down then found out later it was deleted and worse of all, you could even been blame as the plagiarizer??

HI! First of all I think I will feel awful if this happens to me, but I really think, we can't know when some discussion is plagiate! But I am a member of one other social network, and there is one member from here, who post discussions from here as blogs there and i think it is not right

I'm sure that if the admin on the other forum knows that the user is copying posts from here and posting them there then he will be banned.
Plagiarism is an offense!

I guess that is the reason they copy a lot of discussion are made here in mylot and on the other discussion of mine i also discover that it is a non-English site like myspace and the current one is purely blogging in which the owner is also a member of pay per post which mean they earn from copying other discussion.

this is not really so good of an idea. i guess we really have to make a move to stop plagiarizing. i know we can do it, if we all work together. hey, is the one who copied your discussion also a "noypi"? i can't see the profile of the "tanbokekoy". i never thought a countryman will do this thing to us.

Yeah, we could od if all cooperate to ban plagiarism if not totally eliminated at least minimize since it really hurt and insulting just imagine you are the creator then it feel like you are being fram up then you just been caught by surprises when a discussion of yours got deleted because other people who are totally unknown copy your own original discussion verbatim and then get axed which is very unfair on the original poster. I am so glad the admin listen and my disucssion is rectify if I am the guilty one then i would not make a big issues and just quiet which i refuse to do since keeping silent means i am the guilty one then if i never react it mean the one who copy just laugh on me and never face me since whoever he/she is a coward, stealing ideas of other people making a claim that it is their own which is a BIG LIE!!

Wow that is so annoying neelianoscet! I remember I responded to a discussion before regarding stolen discussion, is it you also? The one who stole the discussion forgot to delete the name of the writer, if I remember it correctly. Why on earth they are doing it? Don't they have their own ideas? Where is their brain???
You are so good in investigations huh, imagine you traced your discussion. The nerve! He or she didn't even rephase or reword your sentences...I mean IF I am going to copy, I would get the idea only and would say it in my own words and add my own opinions as well... But that is not me. I don't copy.
Why not write the admin regarding this matter. I believe they have to know so that they will do something to prevent this from happening again. And would not delete any posted discussion first without checking who's original and who's plagiarizing.
I believe this is something serious and they must do something about it. I don't know how they would do it, but maybe there is a way to block this particular person in this site...

Wow that is great! That is really a good news neelianoscet! At least mylot does listen... Sometimes we really need to voice out. Especially when we are being cheated or use in any ways... I sure hope that this thing will not happen anymore. At least this has come to the admin knowledge already... I am sure they are doing something to prevent this thing to happen again...
It is a good news too for those mylotters who responded to your deleted discussion and now reinstated... I know this is really annoying but Be cool now...

Yeah, as mylot listen and i do not know about others deleted discussion, they should also filed complain if they are so sure about their discussion being original they should not be afraid to come to the open since keeping silence have other meaning it may be one is guilty or just afraid for retaliation by those who reported discussion like the so-call myLot police or from trolls games. I am not only concern with myself but also with the other member since if a discussion is deleted and so is their earning gone too. What happen to me is just set an example if the other member are so confident their discussion is their own work and they have reason or evidence to support that their discussion are being copy then deleted by mylot because their other discussion is also being copy by other people so if the admin discover it have similar content they would just deleted discussion if one have not filed a complain or issues about the reasons their discussion is deleted. Yeah that is the right thing to do neelianoscet... Well I haven't experience that yet but thank you at least we all know about this thing and when we encounter such deleted discussion due to that, we will try to do some research too... though I must agree, when I received a notification from mylot regarding deleted response, there was never a ime that I checked and try to trace and know the reason...

It is good to speak out so it is known that hidden facts are revealed somehow so better save one's respect than buy unnecessary embarrassment .

That what i am doing and i am not afraid to say the truth because it is my own work if i keep quiet the plagiarizer would just laugh at me thinking i am a coward since I ignore then have her/him benefit which I refuse to tolerate. because if I am the one who is guilty i am not going to make a discussion about this and maybe i would just hide which is the opposite which i am going to take a stand firm on my ground since i am the one who has been abuse so keeping quiet mean tolerating those who plagiarized my discussion and it so happen that I am not the kind of person to keep quiet i would say what i feel and what may mind like to speak even if they continue hating as for their information I join my lot to hone my writing skill and not here to earn big or be popular that it so happen they targeted me. thanks for your responses.

Wow!! It is so Sad when people do this. I know I had a discussion here disappear once until I could prove it was the original because of someone in here copying and pasting it. You need to figure out a way to prove yours was submitted first, and then find a way to turn in the copy as well. That is one of the main problems these days with being able to post stuff online to earn extra $$, is keeping others from copying and pasting some of the work and posting it elsewhere as well. Don't let it get you too down. Wishing you the Best.

That is also I found out that it is so easy to copy and paste your own work then claim by others within an hours or minutes as their own mind handiwork which is surely only an evil mind could do having to used other work as their own and i also found out up to now the one who copy my discussion still posting copy from other articles he get from other websites in his blog claiming as his own. I hope too other sites whom he copy pursue to his cases against him since he is really a plagiarist, even if you try to check his other entries using plagiarizer checker it is copy too from other websites. thanks

This is now becoming serious and unfair very deeply. Why Mylot deleted your discussion for the fact that you are the one had been cheated and you are the one who posted the discussion first. If I were Mylot I will investigate first who did and did not plagiarize. I also will email that cheater and let him or her admit that she or he was the culprit. I admire you putting the blogsite. I will even spread his or her name on the net and some forums if he or she will not explain to me and admit to me that he or she was the one who copy my discussion. and I will let the Mylot admin the truth with my evidence. Good thing you made a discussion after what happened. I am currently at the Blogsite. Why did they build such blogsite if they don't know how to move their reader by their own original writing. Bad for him/her, you checked it on plagiarizing checker. If I may ask what is the discussion you are talking about, I would like to see it on this blogsite? Is there a fine about violation of copyright? I want to know more about this, if you can give me an information. Your discussion is an eye opener for us because it can happen to us also. And this is a very serious matter, you are giving your full effort of creating a discussion ,being the original and in a just a minute someone will own this and very hard face to show your works in public. What a shame!

Well well, if one is able to locate who the plagiarizer is, by all means, report their post as abuse!! Or even better, get all of your active friends, to rate that particular post, negative!!
That will be more than enough to get rid of his so-called 'own' post, when it's in facted, COPIED!!
There will always be a risk when one starts new discussions.. ANd if that person is always copying your post, take revenge on them openly!! haha =D

He may going to hate me but i know his other link and he is a Filipino from Davao City with a name alias George Harris in twitter with many new blog under his name!! If he would not apologize to me and myLot read this if they only let me know what the name of the one who reported me I suspect if i am correct he is the blogger a member of myLot. He should be ashamed for using my discussion as i am the one who suffer from his deed.

be made to feel you are the criminal when someone stole your whole
discussion. I hope that mylot admins is doing something to stop this
person as this is really so dishonest. surely that person has enough
brainds to make her own discussions instead of criminally copying our
discussions instead. I would be just as angry and upset as you must
be. it was our own work, not to be used by someone who is too lazy to
type out their own work. shame on you whoeveryou are, I hope to God you

In order to be something that is plagiarized it pretty much as to be word for word what someone else wrote. I see a lot of the same types of discussions on here. Most of us don't have time to go through every single posting in a category before we ask a question and because we are all human beings we often have the same thoughts and experiences and ask the same questions. Your submissions wording must have been to similiar to someone elses. I think if you just add you own special touches to your questions you will be fine from now on. I think the simpler a discussion is presented the higher the possibility is that it will sound like someone elses.

That is a different cases as with my own experience it is downright plagiarism since my discussion is copied words per words as you could see from the link which i give above. So it is only my right to make complain since I am the original poster becomes deprived of my right and even becomes the victim of someone stealing my own discussion. it is alright if it have the same ideas and thoughts but if you are going to compare with the link he copy my own discussion words per words and it could not be deny. With the time i submitted here I am ahead and i never attempt to plagiarize any articles so it is very annoying to see that the other person have the disgusting way of claiming my discussion as his own even posting an a hour after i posted my discussion here in mylot claiming it as his own by putting it in his own blog. No, it could not be possible we have the same wording since it is my own wording and it is a copy directly on my discussion here it is not purely accidental but it is his intention to discredit me. Even estimating the time i am the first who posted it here as you could notice even the last wording it is always my trademark to say Kindly shares your thoughts which also being copy including my grammar which is not good at the start of the sentences. So it would only be blind if someone say I copy as you could see from the link that i gives it is copy word per word and it is my evidence which i uphold.

The discussion which i made are my own wording and what do you mean special touches, the things which i write are my own ideas and wording. So do you like to say i am the one who copy which is very impossible??? I am the aggrieved party and do not like to think that you more believe the person who copy my discussion is the plagiarizer and i stand on my own right as i am the original poster that is why I make so much noise because it is my own and their is no reason for me to plagiarize as the earning here is so slow and i only join this site to hone my writing skills as you could observe many member here are not from English speaking countries but they try hard to comes out with a good discussion. So I have no hidden motives to discredit myself as i myself hate plagiarism as i have my own brain who to think of a good discussion that I would not depend on anybody else except putting my own thought which understand by other respondents as well. before you should say your own suggestion, You better read first what i write on my discussion for your own better understanding.

i have read your post in my email inbox about your previous discussion being you the plagiarizer of your own work and thus mylot have deleted it, and when i tried to open that, it was also deleted. i don't know what's really going on here and especially you getting involved with this fuss. i mean, why can't they just leave you in peace..
first, i don't understand why your reputation had been succeedingly going down then now, most of your posts are being copied, and then the worst thing is you being the plagiarizer...

Oh my gosh this horrible. I have visited both the sites you given. What very bad way to put up this kind of blog for only to have page visits. Sadly I don't want to say this but this guy is a Filipino. I'm sure of it. He should be ashamed. I'm going to subscribe and give a post about his actions. This is not right. I also tried reading his other blog posts and it was all copy and paste. He will not last long I assure you neelianoscet. I'm sorry to hear that you are the one being axed by myLot for this action.

Considering the vast number of users here it is always going to be likely that someone has posted the same subject at an earlier time. Even searching for the subject will not always find a duplicate, so it is very difficult to avoid.
However, the word "plagiarised" is rather strong since it suggest deliberate copying of another post as opposed to the inadvertant posting on the same subject. I would be extremely annoyed to have such an accusation under any circumstances.

for you it is nothing.. for me it have something to do with the quality of the discussion and for the awareness of everyone who have concern if you think it is pointless i could not force you to believe, as all i have to say is I speak out the truth which i have nothing to regret or ashamed since i am the one being hit and those who copy just did it wrong to me since i am not the kind who keep quiet when i know i am right..
