There were numerous scams from the craigslist forums, and you might have second thought on searching the trustworthy jobs that posted up there. But from other people's past experience, they did find some jobs that really pay from craigslist job searching. Although it is not the dream job you are getting, at least a job to make some money to pass through. So, have you ever considered finding a job from Craigslist?

The job I am actually at right now, I got via Craigslist and as of tomorrow will be there 5 yrs. The funny thing is there are a lot of Scams on there, and jobs not worth considering, but there are from time to time real jobs on there as well. I think the Best thing is to do your homework and be cautious of anything that is not a real company or Business site to go too.

This is good to know. I use craigslist for many different reasons andI have had both good and bad experiences using craigslist. Sadly, there are a lot of fakes, scammers and spammers on craigslist. I have been using craigslist for about 3 1/2 years and the problem seems to be getting worse. It seems like craigslist is trying to deal with the problem persons. In my city, it has become a little more difficult to post and I am glad for that. I have searched for part time work on craigslist with mixed results. I did participate in some research that was posted under etc and I did get a small amount of money for doing so. I always check etc. I am glad that you had a very positive experience on craigslist finding employment. But that was five years ago. As I have said, I have noticed that there are more fakes on craigslist since I began using it 3 1/2 years ago.

I would consider it but would definitely want to meet and greet and determine for myself whether the person was trustworthy or not before I decided to work for them. I would use this as a last resort though, most likely before asking family for odd jobs to make a little money. Actually I'm in the situation now where I may have to look for a job because the line of work I am in, it's just that unpredictable.

Actually, last check on craigslist, there were some odd jobs and part time position available. For people won't mind to work at a lower degree of job, it is considerable. Although I don't know whether they are legit or not. Anyway, under such economic atmosphere, you can take a hit on it.

I think with the economy the way it is people will try to get a job anywhere, but that that is not always the best idea. I think that we've got to be real careful who we deal with even more so because of the economy. In any case, not just craigslist but anywhere!

I've been doing jobs from craigslist for several years now. I am very careful and always take someone with me. I know there is a risk of scams but you need to get all the important information and possibly get a last name so you can run a check on the person. Just be really careful and if you read it and get a bad gut feeling then you should probably steer clear of it.
