Last summer I put a song with the video on my profile. It is performed by a group very close to me. My son plays drums They entered a competition with that particular song and the video has also been on MTV. When they become famous we can say that they started here on myLot

I don't have a song in my profile yet, I don't even know that you can put one in. Hahaha. Anyway, if I have the time, I think I would put the song The Remedy, by Jason Mraz. Or maybe a compilation of his songs. I love his songs, cause I really like the lyrics, it just says a lot about life, love and your attitude towards it. And the tune is so catchy, I can't help but sing whenever I hear his songs.

I am a fan of evergreen country songs as they are very soothing and the background music aren't too noisy. I like Don Williams songs and I have quite a number of sentimental and soothing songs in my profile which I have been listening over and over while mylotting.

If I could I would add the song "When I Say I Do" by Clint Black and his wife Lisa Black. It was the song my husband had played when he proposed to me. My husband and his friend worked at a Country station. His friend had a live show from 5-7 PM and my husband had picked me up at my apartment. It was a Friday evening. He called me up and told me not to eat because he wanted to take me out. I did not think much of it at the time because it was Friday and it was date night. We went for a drive to look at the Shoeshone Falls (the place where Eval Kanivel made his jump and got hurt). He had a blanket and a two liter bottle of Moutain Dew. It was a nice evening. We got to hear the falls. Then at 6:25 PM he put the radio on and said that he wanted to hear how the station was running. At first I was mad because we were on a date why did he have to think about work. Well, his friend gets on the air and says that he had gotten an email from a man who wants to tell his girlfriend how he feels about her. I thought well this guy is sweet and I told my boyfriend this guy is so romantic. His friend reads the email letter that was sent, then said Darlene if you are listening right now this song is for you, and then he played the song "When You Say I Do". I wanted to cry. My boyfriend got down on one knee and he proposed. Of course I said yes.
