If you suddenly found yourself out of work, and your prospects in your field slim, and you were told to return to school so that you could get a new career, what would you choose. I know a couple in this situation who went back to school and about a year ago my then 44 year old husband went back to school, so that he could be what he always dreamed of. So which career would you choose?

Great question. What did your husband go back to school to do? Gee there are so many things I would have liked to do in my life time. I never did any of the ones I would of liked to do so I have a lot to choose from. At one time I would of liked to be a Nurse; now I see I could of been a doctor. I did become a pre-school teach but really saw clearly I would of loved being a elementary school teacher (didn't know I had the brains to do it but I did). My fantasy careers was to be a writer and a gospel singer (I dappled in both and I do mean dabbled). When I was young I seriously dreamed of being an actress but didn't know how that could ever be possible so I gave up on that idea at a very young age (so silly). I admire people who have goals and go after them.

I just notice this. Thank you so much for best response. Wow! I feel excitement for you and your husband going after a new goal. I should be so brave! I think I will! Thank you!

He wants to be an architect, he has been in construction for a long time and felt that instead of fixing up houses, he would design the buildings and this is great to me. I think your goals are admirable, have you tried writing online, which is my job right now. You should try it to see how it goes, then write a few ebooks in your spare time. You would be able to get it off the ground.

What I meant was if your job was no longer available, your job will be available forever, or at least as long as we both live so you would not have that worry, but in this economic time many jobs are being eliminated, so what would you be if your job were gone.

I always choose my career related to electronics.I finished B.E in electronic and communication. So I always prefer choosing a career related to that. Upon all these I'm very much interested in core related jobs.I completed my degree last year.So now in search of the job related to my department. Will surely get it.But the openings are less in our state. So will try harder to get core related jobs.
