I will never be able to eat Cousin subs again.

I used to love their subs but now I can't stand them! I can't eat them or even look at them! Around Christmas 2008 I was eating one when I got sick! I ended up coming up! It was the start of 5 days of the flu! I'm sure the sub didn't make me sick but since then I won't touch one! I'll eat other subs but will never again will I eat a Cousin's sub!

Sorry you had the start of the flu and eating at Cousins is a reminder of being ill. I do like Cousin's subs, however with the way my kids eat their sandwiches I don't bother going to a sub shop at all. The kids just like to pick out the meat and waste the rest... not worth the money then. But if it was just for me and hubby sure if we had money to splurge and a coupon, gotta have that buy 2 get 1 sub free!!

I can't even think of eating Cousin Subs again! Even after 3 years! I will never forget getting sick! I do go to Subway and eat once in awhile one of their subs. They have very good subs and have never gottan sick off of them!

I wouldn't eat there again either. With a well liked restaurant, it's hard to think it's the food that's making you sick, but some restaurants really don't have good sanitary habits.

I very doubt I will eat at Cousins subs again. I still can't look at one and not think about about what happen the last time I ate one! I'm still not sure if the sub made me sick or not. I do know alot of resturants don't have good sanitary habits. Maybe Cousins don't.

i get ya. i actually got food poisoning from Red Lobster. we had taken another couple out for dinner and i ended up getting really sick afterwards. a week later i went to the er and was told that.
i asked a friend who worked there at the time and he said it happened more than once to them.

Wow! That a crazy story about Red Lobster! You ended up going to the er because of Red Lobster! Then you found out a friend that is happen more then once to them! I wouldn't eat at Red Lobster again if I were you! With me I will never eat a Cousin sub again!

Maybe you should give them another try, after all it was the flu and not the sandwich that made you sick. I do know how you feel though I ate some crab legs when I was pregnant with my last child and I ended up throwing them up. After that it took a few years before I could eat crab legs again and crab legs had been one of my favorite things in the world. I feer it was actually the crab legs that made me sick though because I had not thrown up anything else that entire pregnancy, it also could have been the heat though we were on South Padre Island in July and it was way too hot and humid there to be a pregnant woman. LOL

Right now I plan not to eat any Cousin subs! I still can't imagine doing that! My memory of eating that one when I got sick is still fresh in my mind! If I do eat another Cousin again,it wouldn't be anytime soon!
