Relaxing Cat Massage

I would like to introduce to you my cat. His name is tiger. If you want to see his picture just browse my profile and there you can see him. This cat has always fascinated me. He is one of my unique cats at home because he always do massages on us. Yes a cat that does massage. It his routine every morning and afternoon.
If he wakes up and sees you, he'll go sit on your lap and massages your abdomen. I also tried to put him in my back and he still did his massages. A little set back is that it is accompanied by acupuncture If you know what I mean. Yes his nails are sharp that is why we trim them down. I like his massages because it is relaxing. We didn't train him to do this that is what fascinates me.
I could say that the experience is entirely different because it kinda started hard then it gets soft in the middle of his therapy. I might open for a cat massage spa for this

My cat kind of does this, but I don't let him. Even though his claws are trimmed down it can hurt after a while. And, I can only tolerate so much. But, at least he doesn't do it very often. he just perfers to "massage" the furnchure. George, my partner, doesn't like that too much, but oh well. I'm not stopping him now.

Yeah the cat's nails are very sharp even if trim but my cat can control it. It depends on the cat I think. He usually massages me eyes closing more like he is concentrating haha. Just love to see it. Well regarding about the furniture, they already made it into a scratch post.

Hi nykel88! I don't have a cat-- only dog, a big pitbull. I used to have a cat before when I was young, but I don't remember that she did do us any massage. Well your cat is good and very interesting. I also love to be massaged, that is really good for it is a big savings for you and your family . I can imagine how relaxing it is. I used to see my cat before doing like arm exercises, as if she was punching the pillow, I think that is what your cat is doing to your tammy and back as well.

Yeah you have to pamper and feed them alot, nykel if your are going to make money from them ! Anyway, that is a big savings to you, imagine all you have to do is to feed them good foods--- we all know that cats don't eat that much compared to big breed dogs! HAHAHA Anyways, I know you are just joking...

Tuti does. She gets up on me and works on a shoulder or arm (I prefer the shoulder) and unless her nails are really long, they don't get involved. I've had a few cats that can do that, but Tuti is really good about not having the nails get in the act.
The only bad thing is she's lost a lot of weight and so she doesn't have as much to bet behind her massages as she used to, but she's good about putting a warm compress on the area after she's done (she lays down on the area.)

Tuti? nice name ^^ Wow your cat can control her nails I like that. Tiger sometimes can control them but mostly he does when he is not into deep concentration. They are so cute when their eyes close and does their massaging. It is like they are saying "Do you like my massage?" haha

We have an old cat who does this marvelous massage too. When she sees mom relaxing on the sofa she will quickly jump on her lap and put her paws on her abdomen and start doing her massaging like marching on the belly. She will do it until mom say enough and put her down. But she won't massage every member of the family but has her favorite candidates.

hi nykel88 I think I am in love,he he with your kitty Tiger. He sure is cute. I had one female cat, all black we called her Midnight and she would do that, massage my tummy and smetimes my legs, I felt just awful when we had to find her another home as we were moving into an
apartment that did not let you have pets, the people we gave her to
adored her so that part was okay,its just that she was my cat, she preferred me to the rest of the family he he.

Hi Hatley! A cat lover aye. That is good. Do you have a picture of your cat? How about if you let her sneak the other way around the apartment or maybe the window unless it is very high never mind. hehe. So this is the habit of cats, they do massages. Ever wondered what triggers them to this?

Oh great, you and your cat are in love. lol ^_^ Seriously, we do have 2 cats but we don't let them come inside the house, though sometimes they did when they just sneak in but then we bring them back outside. It's good that you have a very special relationship something (LOL) with your cat. I'm not really an animal type of person. Though we have a dog and 2 cats, Im not that close to them. :( but sometimes I just pat them and give them foods.
