Okay I admit it. I never read those faqs and terms of services. I actually would rather ask in the forum. Mostly because those really long items just triggers a nosebleed (pun intended of course) and a migraine (no joke about that).
So I'd actually ended up being a member of survey panels, forums that I'm not even qualified to join.
Like here in mylot, it took me days before I realized that everyone's referring every newbie to the faq sections.Even now I get posts deleted because I was not following instructions. Talk about short attention spans, right?
How bout you?

In the beginning I didn't really read the FAQ or the terms of service before I joined a new site. I looked through the pages really quickly, but I never took the time to read the descriptions in detail. One day I was about to sign up at a games site. I only wanted to join the site, because I was interested in buying one of the games. I was about to submit my information when one of the sentences in TOS caught my attention. I discovered that I was about to join a club where I would get a new game every month, and I would have to pay for those games of course. I definately don't want to pay a certain amount every month just to get some games that I am not even interested in, and I very happy that I didn't join the site. Since that time I have been a lot more careful

I just went to the faqs section and don't know what type of instructions you are talking about. Hopefully my posts are okay, but if they are it will be just by coincidence.
I basically completely ignore the fine print when signing up for websites online. Hopefully I do not sign my soul away or something.
