Should net friends meet?

I had come across this friend two months back,and started chatting ,then phone calls and he wants to meet.I am also married and settled with kids and he too....meeting may upset our otherwise peaceful lives.What do you all suggest?

No, I don't think it would be the wisest decision. People you meet online would be the last people on Earth I'd ever trust, unless I knew them already in real life.

ia little girl was raped near me recently because of the internet as she ws chatting DONT MEET unless your in a public place like a coffee shop plz i cant stress enough

You can meet as friends. When he/she turns out to be an enormous scoundrel you can just tell him you don't feel comfortable and want to return home. Some people say you should meet close to your house so that you can be home as soon as possible in a safe way just in case.
