Will i be sued for failure to pay my credit card account?

Hello my lotters, i want to discuss to you my concern regarding credit card accounts. I failed to pay my bill for 2 months and i have been receiving calls text massages reminding for the accounts which is getting higher and higher due to the charges and penalties . Last December I notify the credit card management to ask some consideration to lessen my penalty and surcharge and even ask them to consider me to pay my due in an installment basis till it will be paid in full. This is due to my work status wherein the company where i am connected already in a shaky situation. In fact, the management gave us a word to start looking for another job opportunity . We even sacrifice with no salary since January till now . However , the credit card management they have suggested me to transact for a loan in other bank which made me so depressed. Will I be sued for this reason of non paying my credit card? Please give your opinion. Thank you
