I am a junior student now who concerns about whether to take graduate study regarding to present job market. Taking graduate study can delay my graduation to hunt for a job and add one more diploma in my documents bag, which may help me to have an advantage over other competitors. But it takes money and more time to do this and the situation might switch after my graduation.
So what is your opinion on graduate study,to take it or not?

I graduate in April and I know I am looking into an online Grad school. With the bad economy and the fact that the governor of Idaho wants to cut spending on education which means no new jobs. It frustrates me because I have worked so hard in college getting my degree in Elementary Education and I can not even use it. My husband made so many sacrifices for me to attend school. After we got married I went to school fulltime and he took two part-time jobs he hated just so I can finish. Now that the economy has gotten bad my husband is attend college online so he can further his education.

I'm to sorry to hear that you are in such a dilemma. To be honest, degree sometimes is not that important to me and to some jobs. The reality takes ability as a priority to a diploma I think. I believe your situation will soon change for the better and God will direct you the right way

I am Chinese , and I am not good at english . I am sure I will make many mistakes here , so do not laugh at my poor english .
To take graduate study is very necessary , maybe it is not helpful for your to get a good job directly , but you should take it .

ya it's better to be graduated it will be very useful for in cases of those recession times and with a graduation you will get lots of respect and even more pay.choose your interested one instead going on to present market because i choosed the one based on that but i have no satisfactory with this study so rather taking like this you may select the one which you like and can have a happy learning and the job you go through that will also be fine.all the best.

Well, first thank you for the comment. My major is English, believe it or not,and I learn about export and import as my subcourses with which I expect to find a good job.But the truth is that our society just has millions of such employees and this field seems to be saturated. I'm now taking a Spanish course by myself and learn about interpretaion at the same time, seemingly helpful due to some of my instructors. Life is tough

It is getting to the point where a masters is required for almost every important job. A masters is becoming like a college diploma for the generations before. Furthering your education is never a bad idea

I don't agree that there is need of graduate degree if you do some technical course or diploma after 10th then u will get better job then a graduate degree gets. There is massive demand of diploma holder in the market. If you done graduate along with some other technical course then it is fruitful....
