Is there an issue with Paypal and transactions to India.

I read on a paying site that Paypal has forbade payments to India. The site did not say clearly what the issue was. On the other hand they also said that transactions would be done as usual.
I was curious about this. I assume its something to do with the site and they are putting the blame on Paypal. Or I could be wrong.
Does anyone know if there is any cause for concern?

As far as I know, RBI sought some clarification from paypal regarding transfer of funds to Indian Bank Accounts. So temporarily paypal stopped sending money to Indian Bank accounts. They say other transactions will have no problem. But this problem also will be solved soon as this will affect paypal business drastically. Many Indians are members in paypal and have accounts with paypal. I am sure paypal will solve this issue soon.

there is some problem between rbi and paypal and some people have said that payments to indian paypal accounts have been reversed. but it has been resolved now but personal payments are suspended for the meantime and paypal has said that they are working towards resolving the issue completely. you can their blog for updates. currently bank withdrawals are also suspended for the time being. transactions are working fine since i have received money to my paypal account. money can still be withdrawn via check or to your credit card.

The Problem of Paypal with RBI have been cleared and presently the paypal works according to the rules of RBI. and be careful with u r transacions , don't make more transactions in a month aas paypal gives only one trransaction free and charges for the remaining. better check adain the rules of p-aypal payement againg before making transactions.
