How to go about thinking??
How much can the way you think really effect your life
I love the power of the mind.. and often love to ponder on the thought of how much your thinking and your mind can change the situation your in..
Is there a way to control your head so you make the best descisions???
this discussion really confuses me just wondering what others think..
i always wonder if positive thinking is best of if you need to feel some of the negative...
is it mind over matter
or is it better to feel some of the negative and then stop yourself from dwelling of is that simply just shutting out what you need to feel???
Is there a way to optimally think? with the right amount of negative or the right amount of positive

Huhuw, i very like discussions about the power of mind. Yeah, i believe on this power, i use it everytime and it works the most of the time! Visualisation is our power to "control our situations" and to realize our dreams, wishs, desires.
When you have negatives thoughts try to kill them, don't let them disturb you, only thing about what you want and imagine you already have the thing or already accomplished your goal! ^o^

I think learning to think critically is an important and valuable tool. As Aristotle notes virtue lies in the golden mean; excess courage is foolhardiness and lack of courage is cowardliness.
So it is with positive and negative thoughts.

the power of the mind is really mind-boggling and overpowering, too. sometime, though, we don't realize the power of the mind at work in things we do. even good attitude is classified under the power of the mind. when you have good attitude, you are in the right mood to do things. and you finish things easily, you don't get tired. when you have a wrong attitude, you always work in a bad mood. that makes even simple chores hard to accomplish. you end up dog tired...

The mind has powerful ability actually we are using our mind only 2-3 free percent
out of 100 percent. now you can think how is the ability it has. for example
while you are sleeping most of the people had seen dream or dreams some time they felt ohh... it was so long dream. or may you seen 2 or 3 dreams. but accroding to science there was lot may dreams had seen in one night by you while you sleep. every dreams has maximum 7 seconde now you just think how much capacity of your mind it thinks lot many thing create lot many things which you never seen somthing and it will shows you. its kind of matrix means colllect so many things and create one picture. if some one said you I never seen dream while I sleep so dont think more every person and live seeing dreams while they start to sleep dreams also start with him/her. the thing is they dont have remember those dreams. we are also saying sometime that I have seen 2 or more dreams it was few last dreams which we have remember.

yeah..In every plan, we have to think first. In every problem we're in, we have to think first..In a very big plan, we start to imagine ourselves after the plan has been realized, then we must start believing in that imagination..In a very big problem, when it's almost impossible to find a solution, we must imagine a situation after solving the problem, then we start to believe in that situation..So,maybe you are referring mind to that "believing" than just "thinking".. For me, I call it faith, not mind..We don't need a proof, we just believe.. Then, we notice things to be happening differently, better than expected.

i believe you can sometimes feel such terrible depression that its hard to pull yourself out. but you need to have a strong enough mind and will to survive it. you have to get it all out of you by speaking with someone that cares. or at least watch something funny or of great interest to you and maybe listen to upbeat music. this morn, i was total depressed but i know i cant let myself ponder on it because i get to wanting to do away with this life, so, i called my daughter. we had a talk and now i feel all better.

While being positive and thinking positively is a great thing, but do not believe you can change your situation by mere thinking. You have to be realistic and weigh negatives and positives.

I really enjoy answering this post. I just recently read a financial success book about how rich people think differently then poor and middle class people. The book shows 17 different ways on how rich people think better in regards to there money. It goes into detail about each of the seventeen different ways. I only buy books that are from certified established people. The author of the book owns a business school where he teaches 1000's of people how to be successful and how to think like a millionaire. The first thing he teaches in the book is how to think like a millionaire. its not about learning, really its about unlearning. What I mean by this is most of the thought views and opinions you were taught if you were brought up from a poor or middle class family were probably wrong. In his book he teaches the proper ways to address money and becoming rich.
