Work to live or live to work?

i think we should work to live and not live to work and we are not living just to work . we work mainly for money and we will be enjoying with the money we earn . so it will be right to say that we should work to live . but we should be sincere in the work we do . we must do the thing perfectly for which we are getting paid . so work to live and dont live to work .

Hi! There are really to categories of people- people, who are living to work-workoholics , and people, who are working to live, like the most of us. The frist category prefers to work a lot, because they either love their job, or they have nothing else to do, i mean they have no family, no friends, and prefer staying at work, than staying at home alone. And the second category are people like me and you- people, who work, because they need money so that they can support their families or just to have something to eat. Well, i have no job, but when I find the right for me, i think i will be in the both categories , not because I have no family and friends, but because I want to have my own book store or at least to work in one or in a library- i love books

I understand how you feel. I've been in a situation where I really hated my job but felt compelled to keep on working because I HAD to. Don't hesitate to resign if you're really fed up already, or if you're feeling super-lonely and dissatisfied with it. I know it sucks to work for money, but that only happens when you don't like what you're doing. Find your passion, and go for it. I wish you the best.

No need to think, surely I am 'work to live' type of person. Just to earn enough money for spending in life, I would go to work. At the same time, I love my job too. Going for the job which we don't like is really hard and stressful task. Living to work..Oh no! its very hard to think itself. If I have that attitude, I would be a rocket scientist now. You relax and enjoy life and do your work perfectly.

Hi limphaiksee If I were you I would make a right decision that fits my needs. I wouldn't force myself to do something that I am not capable of doing or is too demanding of my strength and time. There's no point of doing that and it may only lead to trouble and frustration. The best thing to do might be to slow down and take a look at what is really needed.

Sigh, unfortunately, at this point of my life, I have to work in order my kids and I can live.

we work coz we want money to survive in our life. i believe if you have money unlimited, u will not work anymore. thats a fact that we should accept as a human. we need money to continue our life journey. for your situation, its better you reconsider your situation. maybe you should learn try and error coz experience only can getting by face it in reality. u just need to confident yourself, always positive thinking and make a planning in your live, especially time for rest or vacation, so that you have a goal to achieve ini your job...be patient coz it is reality and we must go on...

If you don't want this leader job maybe you could ask your boss to give you your precedent job? And by the same time, you can search fo another job and quit your actual company when you will find the right job which are destinated to you? ^^ For me, i work to live and not the contrary, i don't want to spend all my life to job just for job! XD When i'll be very rich, i will quit studies and job to travelling around the world until i die ^^.

That is life's process limphaiksee. We really have to work hard to survive life's trials. But. if you are not happy with your work, I believe you can search better jobs than it. But, I believe also that you were promoted because they see in you of being a good leader. So, keep it up!! congrats!

Obviously work only to live is my answer.. you can like work only for the income you need.. if u start working for money then all that would remain is loads of stress.. so choose your profession well and try to work only for what you are paid..
