Why did you propose to your wife?- Question for the men

Hello, just wanted to know what makes men driven to proposing to the woman they have been dating? Why suddenly do they make that trip to the jewellery store and get down on knee.....or whatever lol? Is it fear of losing her to another man so you feel you have to claim what is yours on a more permanent level? Is it her persistent nagging? ( i know it isn't just put that in for a lol) Do you just love weddings? lol Or do you just wanna make the women you love, happy? Married and single men tell me your view, thank you.

Had to get her on my insurance so they'd cover the baby.

Well i aint married yet, but i will only propose a girl who i love and will only propose when i know i want to spend the rest of my life with her in our small house, have kids, grow old , spend time together and live life.

Well being a man i think when we figure out that lady we are dating is true love then we propose to her. Initially we get caught up between infatuation and true love.So i think we figure out the true love then we go and propose.
