Do you use the same brand toothpaste, shampoo soap for all your family members?

yes we share the same thing at home in terms of toothpaste, shampoo but i have my own soap coz my skin is very sensitive so i use ivory which is cheaper nor dove. we've been using colgate since child as our toothpaste while in shampoo we keep on changing it constantly, it depends if theres a promo in the market like buy one take one or 50% off.

No..We didn't have all this thing of different brand name...We didn't concern about this..we give more concern the product we have purchasing is productive or not...

in my family,we use different toothpaste,shampoo and soap,the members of my family like different types of hygiene.when I bought them from shop,I put them in different palce,my family always use their own brand,only when somebody use out of his,I share it with he or she.

When I was still living under the same roof with my parents, we use to share everything. I mean, we share the same shampoo, soap, and toothpaste until I moved out. There were times, though, when I would buy my own shampoo because I did not like the brand we had at home. With regard to the brand of toothpaste, if we don't like it, then we would ask Mom so she'd buy us a new one and discard the first one she bought. Also, when my brother had skin allergies, he used a special soap from his dermatologist, totally different from what we had then.

I have my own preferences, but i usualy buy these items for hygiene for my children too, they are man, so like to use different brands, , but they chose for themselves. They are not lazy, but i like to buy for all, just because i am one who go to shopping usual.

We never prefer same brand of products. My son prefer his own products which are kids related items (soap, toothpaste, shampoo) and on. My wife uses different brands. I always prefer health related products.

Since there is only two of us for the most part we use the same brands of everything. We do have a variety of different brands of shampoo and conditioner and soap, so it varies on what we use between the two of us. We both have our personal preferences but for the most part we buy the same brands.

well not in my case, we use same brand. there is a reason I have three daughter aged 5, 3 and 1 :) not young enough to decide their toothpaste or shampoo brand. As for as my wife is concerned I am lucky in that part that we have same choices in many things especially in stuffs like these. Once I had dendruff on my hair so I start using medicated shampoo, so i think it was first time that when my wife and I had different shampoos. My daughters use children's brand shampoo and toothpastes. May be later after few years I face problems mentioned in your topic...but so far so good in my part.

in the family, every family member freedom to choice houshold items. some are common but some are different brand. some brand also not match to all. so they to need to have own selection . in personally i'm also lazy but not much lazy and i'm not a billioner that i can't buy toothpaste, shampoo, soap and other hair and skin care products for myself from shopping mall, which are not so far from our home or office. may be one min walking distance .if any one lazy to do this type of small work. i thought s/he is much rich and stupid.

Firstly, my family members discuss before purchasing any product and once the final decision is made the selected brand is purchased. It is the best way to keep unity and integrity among all members of family. Secondly, we should not feel irritated if someone from family uses our product. But it is not with all products because Toothbrush and tongue cleaners cannot be shared with others.

ya all of us in the family will use the same brand tooth paste but will use different soaps . well in our family there are only four members and so we use the same brand tooth paste until some one gets any problem with their teeth and they are advised to or prescribed to use some other tooth paste by the doctor . most of the times we will use the same tooth paste . but we wont use the same brand of soaps . me and my brother will use the same brand and my parents will use a different brand .

hi,no in my family every one has their uniqe brands.we dont like to share it.and it may be because of some medical reasons too mom and dad uses some prescribed tooth pastes and so on.and for the guest we will get them what they need not sharing.

well, in my family brand is not so important..we usually use the same brand but we keep changing brand until we all agree with the quality of that brand..we agree on brands of coffee, soap, toothpaste...but not yet on shampoo...we are still changing shampoo brand...thanks for the question..

Nope, I have my very own things for everything, and I must be honest I don't like the others to use it, I buy for example a shampoo that is good for my hair, the gel that I like and the parfumes that I like, what would be the use of them using mine, if they like it thay can buy their own, I won't touch them as I don't touch what they use.

hi marianna, regarding tooth paste i am using my own brand,and all other things i use what ever brand it is,i am not so particular about the brand also,you know that some items are manufactured by unknown companies and marketed by the brands,no brand to me,but i and my wife is using "Sensodent K" tooth paste for the last 10 years,we do not change the brand for ever,have a nice day

Each and every member of my family used the same toothpaste brand i.e. colgate . But for soap we have separate brand. For me its no big deal, i used whatever soap my wife is using. Shampoo also i used what she use. i did not have my own brand.

hi there, if you are talking about the brand then i would some of the products are common, well i guess there is no need to buy a different toothpaste concerning hygiene, but yeah i have different brand of soap altogether, shampoo is the same brand.. no one should be when it comes to personal hygiene lol..

We all seem to prefer different brands when it comes to toothpaste and shampoos. I have my favorite ones. My daughter is a lot more choosy. My son doesn't care as long as he can find it.

Luckily, i don't have that problem. I use my products and i buy my hubbies products. We will not use each others, and that is the way to do it. If someone uses your stuff, put it in your room. Then no one can touch it. If they ask for some, sorry, you don't have any. TATA.

i have my own stuff and i buy them separately. however if someone in my family uses it or borrows it i am not going to be that upset, cuz they will just put it right back where i had put it. so its really not an issue in my family although its natural that we buy different brands and we use different brands but when they ran out they from me and when i ran out i borrow from them.
