Three Points. Defenders of Wildlife states that according to Idaho's misleadingly named Sportmen for Wildlife, who recently held three "predator derbies" - competitions where contestants vied to see who can kill the most wolves and other animals over a two day period. Cabelas and Sportman's Warehouse, two major outdoor retailers, sponsored the derbies, with the entry fees for these brutal competitions funneled to support anti-wolf lawyers and lobbyists working to keep wolves in Greater Yellowstone and the northern Rockies off the endangered species list and squarely in the crossroads of those who would do them harm. I for one am disgusted about this inhumane event. Who are the real "animals" here? I've already written to Cabelas in my area and told them how I feel about their sponsorship of this event and that I will refrain from shopping there again until they withdraw their support. I urge any MyLot members who feel the same to contact their Cabelas and/or Sportman's Warehouse and do the same!! How do you other MyLot animal lovers feel about this? The wolves need a voice!!

And it hasn't stopped, it's disgusting how nearly 60% of the earths wildlife has become extinct due to human activity and these idiot hunters still want to do more harm. I just pray that what these hunters do to wildlife will be done unto them as well as their families.

This is horrible event. You are right, this is very inhumane. We are the worst "animals' in this picture. We should preserve wildlife. What surprised me is that people from Sportsman Club is sponsoring such event. The more we learn about people , the more we love animals.
