I expected it to be good...and it was VERY good. It even had some laugh out loud funny parts, which I did not expect.
Two hours very well spent.
Well, I finally saw this. Good movie, I liked it. After looking up the trivia on IMDB, I learned that the dorky white kid (Trey) that is with the girl when she runs into the 3 black guys is Eastwood's son!

This is such a great movie! I saw it's trailer once, and then I was determined to really watch this film. Clint Eastwood's talent can really be seen here. I also found his character really good, even if he didn't look like it at first.

I did not see ths movie at the theatre, but rented it as soon as it came out. I think its probably my favorite Eastwood film since the Unforgiven. A couple friends criticized it for not being a "very Clintlike movie", but to me, what always made Clint special wasn't so much what he said in movies, but what he portrayed. He didn't have to script in the thoughts and emotions that ran deep in this movie and that he fell in love with people that he thought to be his enemies. You just get it! To me, this is a hard movie to not get emotional about and after watching it i was sort of dumbfounded as to why people didn't think it was very Clintlike, when I thought it was an ideal part for him.

This was a very good movie. Clint Eastwood was so good in this movie but then again he is always good in everything he does. I just didn't like the ending. I understood why he did it but I still didn't want him to die. He is one of my all time favorite actors. I love when they have a bunch of his movie westerns on in a row on a movie channel.
