Does your look define you as a person?

This question is for those who can well relate to this. Society is very cruel to some of us whose weight scale is a lot bigger compared to others. I for one am a fat mother, trying to loose some weight. I was once skinny but gained weight when I gave birth. It is so sad how depressing gain weight can be but it is even more sad seeing the people around you be it friends, neighbors or even family think that you are so FAT and they like to rub it in your face. It is interesting how a simple comment like 'wow you really gained weight, before you were so thin. What happened to you?!' can make a great impact to you.
I've lost weight and still trying to loose some because of a lot of reasons, as much as I want to say and think that I am not doing this to fit in, in the society I call cruel but sad to say yes, this is one of the reasons.
Does your weight and how you look define who you are?
