Help! How do I unpartition my hard drive?

I got this computer given to me, but the hard drive was partitioned. I don't need it partitioned I need the space for my stuff. So does anyone know how to unpartition the hard drive?

its simple man...........when u format ur pc.....in formatting..theres an option for partition...space... see it you can do it man...........

Hi Sknsknskn. I haven't been able to format the drive. It don't give me that choice. I am new to vista and still learning the ins and outs to this machine. Hi Siliguri. I tried and it just don't work for me. Yet! I will figure it out sooner or later. Thanks though.

Have your hard drive re-formatted but all the files saved in both the partition will be lost. Backup first all important files, if you have one. Re-formatting your drive will give you an option if you want a single partition or multiple partition.
