A friend of mine told me that many people fail with their relationship primarily because they fail to decipher love. Like others when ask why do they love their partner? they often answer with "because he/ she loves me and we both love each other, love is a feeling and we don't need to decipher with it."

Its a good idea to know WHY you love someone. Like someone else said, feelings are fleeting, but if you know why you love someone that feeling is more likely to stay. True love isn't going to be affected by looks or money or petty things like that. True love can even make it through infidelity, but only if you know why you love your significant other. By knowing why you love them, you'll be able to work through the bad things that happen and get closer to one another.

Ah, I don't think that's possible if you really love someone. If you love, you just do it no matter if he/she has bad habits too. You can't say you love someone because of its good heart for instance, because you may know and love in some way many people with good hearts, but only one of them is your special one. Love is chemistry too after all :)

Love happens and you don't know when or why. But when you think about the person you love you should know as well what about them makes you love them. Simply saying that you love them because they love you is not really loving them. It's justifying the word love exists in your relationship. But it is important for you to know within yourself why you love that person in order to keep going back to that when you have bad times in the relationship.

Hey careguarden! That is a really stupid response! There is
all types of love! And you need to know what type of love you
have! I love my boyfriend in a different way than he loves me
and that isn't a good thing! He loves me as more of a friend
meaning he isn't in love with me right now! We have had alot
of problems and he is upset with me! So, right now we are trying
to decide if we are going to stay together! I have girlfriends
that I love and they love me and that is another kind of love!
So, yes you do need to decipher love! You need to know just
what kind of love you are dealing with! If me and my boyfriend
can't work things out, and he decides he doesn't love me the
same way I love him then he is out of my life!

we don't need to decipher love, i think we should focus more on the people we are sharing our life with... we need to be compatible with them and able to trust them..
