Many a times i have noticed ladies laughing, but in a tender way.
they only giggle or titter.
I haven't seen any lady cackle and also never a roar ..
how it would be if they cackle?
what do you like the most -- an giggling lady or cackling one???

I actually laugh out loud.I don't suppress my laughter.if something makes me laugh,I'll laugh out loud.I just giggle when trying to control my laughter when in an event or a meeting.laughing can help me release my stress.

Ok that's good.
Laughing does wonders and that too in today's lifestyle.
As i said earlier that i respect that comes naturally, but one have to look at the ambient situation.
It is generally seen that ladies prefer to smile briskly rather than loud.

I think that women can laugh loudly if they are not intimidated. A lot of time we (I'm a women, too) are taught not laugh loudly as especially if you laugh differently, as I do; I have a speech impairment. I can both giggle and cackle, depending on mood and the environment I'm in, how liberated I'm feeling, and so on.

actually i respect the true flawless expression of one's feelings.but why women are taught to laugh a little? aren't they are equal as that a man is?

I don’t think women can ever ‘roar’ simply coz roaring requires a very deep voice which women don’t have…not even many men have such deep voice.
However, women do laugh out loud and clear…I for one certainly do so as I see nothing unwomanly in laughing out loud when I am really enjoying the topic.
Giggles and titters are mainly confined to teenagers and young girls who are by nature, coy and pretentious. They play all the girly and hard-to-get acts with boys and young men and laughing out loud can actually put off a prospective boyfriend.
However, I don’t like the cackling sound of laughter…it somehow hurts my ears.

Hi quickstar,
Erm, I don't exactly "cackle" but I'm one who will throw my head back and laugh out loud if I hear something really funny or if there is much fun around - can't help it... kinda embarrassing sometimes =) Hmm, I only giggle in scenarios like when I'm in a quiet environment or when I'm around people I wish to impress or when having an unstimulated conversation... Personally, I like to see ladies (or anyone) having a good unrestrained laugh. Laughter brightens up faces and life =) Ha, not sure if I answer your question though ;p

thanx for this good response .i think a good unrestrained laugh can make anybody laugh.but there are situations when one cannot do that.A smile is contagious.
