Learning a new language(german)

Im interested in learning German and i have been looking for either an online or audio way. But i looked at the rosettastone products and i have tried the trial version and it was great but the price for any of the programs is outragous! Im wondering if anyone knows a good fairly inexpencive way to learn?

try this website: http://german.about.com you find a lot of helpful links from there, some for free, some not... the site itself is great help for beginners...
