After the UpBux incident, are you still willing to invest time on PTC sites?

After what the Upbux-closing-down incident, a lot of people seems to be second-guessing enrolling and continuing on PTC sites. Well who wouldn't? UpBux was reputed as one of the best trusted paying PTC sites then all of a sudden, boom, they disappear into thin air without even giving a decent explanation and the opportunity for users to voice out their concerns, suggestions and comments about this matter. I honestly fell for PTC sites, at least before this happened. But now I've grown skeptical and have been thinking if I should continue on with these sites. A lot of other sites have given the signal that they too are going down 2 months from now (well to give these sites proper credit, at least they were prudent enough to give users a heads up).
Anyway I just want to know: After this incident with UpBux, are you still willing to invest time and perhaps money on PTC sites? How did this UpBux incident affect your perspective on PTC sites? Would love to hear your sides.

Hello pocket
Well i wasnt too willing to do it before, less after that. I didnt invest anything there from my pocket but did invest like 1.5 in referrals from the mainbalance. I dont know why, but i didnt like too much upbux(maybe it is because i lose like 80 cents on the games, though that was my fault). I did invest $5 on bux.ee,which future is uncertain(same problem), well i certainly didnt expect them to have these troubles so early.
Yesterday i decided to invest on wordlinx, i paid $10 for a year of membership, though i give a good amount of thought on this and decided to take a risk(as someone said "no pain, no gain"), beside wordlinx has been around since 2003 and that was a nice factor. In less than 24 hours i had made 18 cents, so hopefully it would turn in a nice investment.
Well certainly what upbux and bux.ee has teach me is that one should never invest on a new site, never invest unless it has a year or even more time(although even in that situation, there is no guarantee, but there is less risk of losing money).

Upbux had nice referrals, from the three i renew two of them which were active, i was close to the first cashout but i dont know why im not mad or anything.
Wordlinx is turning out good, if this keeps up, i will be able to make a profit on my investment. Bux.ee havent been so good, and there is a posibllity that i cant cashout, but im still on hold on there. Thank you for your wishes, hope your online earnings turn out good as well.

getting this far and earning not even enough for my dsl connections, i think the reason is obvious. besides, i hardly have what is called enough sites to make a living income from the internet, not even candy money. so, pocketrocketsaa, it's mylotting all the way. no bones about the other sites. and you are one of the reasons why.

apparently, you dodged the last statement.anyway, what you said very, very true. why waste time waiting for the clock to tick and get a mere cent, even lower, for it. and it's not because we're both here in mylot that we make this reference for preference.

Hiya PocketRockets,
Feel for all the people that have been in this program and lost their hard earned money. I have not been in this one and at the rate things are going I don´t think I will get into any other like that one.
Maybe you can get paid out another way Alert Pay or other. The only thing I can use is Paypal and I don´t plan to put a lot in it either.

Yeah, it's good that you weren't a member of Upbux. What a waste of time and effort that would have been for you! Anyway, that's actually one of the things that still boggles my mind. UpBux shut down for the reason that their Paypal account was suspended. They claim that 85% of their money was in there and that Paypal took it all. I don't quite believe that's a good reason to suddenly run off with your users money. I mean, just like what you said, they should have just continued having their payouts through AlertPay of something. UpBux just took the easy way out in their dilemma.

Our time an labor getting wasted due to such thing. I have not invested in any of the site so far. Sooner I will be investing in some sites that are legit and has paid and are paying. Recently I try to login FrankyBUx, the site is not getting opened. it denotes Security code Error. I tries to register some other person then also the same error appears. I do not know what it means. In up bux I have only very recently joined. so I have not lost much.

Actually they did give an explanation although if people did not log on during that day and with in a certain time they may not have seen it, but I happened to have logged on that morning and saw the explanation. They blamed it on pay pal. They said that pay pal had limited thier access, and with out being able to pay people through pay pal and for them to get paid by people through pay pal they could not continue. Of course we don't know pay pals side of the story, but according to Upbux that is why they are no longer around. They said some really bad things about pay pal though before they left. But I don't know what they did to pay pal, so I don't really know who is to blame, but that is the explanation. I will continue trying new ones and sticking with the ones I find to be honest. Once I cash out on a site and they don't pay me then I will not go back.
