I have the worst cell phone service in the world! Everywhere I go my phone drops calls and gets poor reception. It makes me so mad sometimes I want to throw my phone out the window. It's so fustrating to not to be able to talk to someone when you need too. Sometimes my phone will say I have bars or even better full bars for device and it still won't allow you call anyone. I pay one hundred dollars a month for my service and it sticks. I am locked in a contract. The only reason I signed up with this service was to get the iPhone and now I regretting it big time. Don't get me wrong I love my iPhone and all the cool features but the service with these people are worthless. Definetly not with having. When my contract is up I am switching with out a doubt. I am not even going to think twice. I don't care if they are having the best deal ever my answer will be no way!

I`ve had some bad cell phone service too. They charged me extra for something I didn`t even do and they charge you to call customer service. I called customer service and they told me to hold. I was on the phone holding for 20 minutes before they replied and that cost me about $6 just to call customer service.

My cell phone service is fine. I don't have problems with them regarding overcharging and their customer service is free. The problem is the phone they gave me. I went to the cell phone provider (nokia) and had it repaired since it has 1 year warranty. Well, it worked fine for a week but after a week it's shutting down by itself again even if the battery is still full. The memory card for some reason would autoreformat by itself causing all my files to be lost.

Some people I know wanting the most stylish new phones are finding looks aren't everything-They're telling me never to buy a phone from these certain manufacturers,as the software is buggy and has been known to crash without warning..Some phones are notorious for problems like this,it's the phone's popularity and demand for them that's keeping the provider's service department busy as well as their sales team!

You're right. I have another phone that I still use until now. It has a different brand. It has been with me like 10 years already and it still works better compared to my 5 month old cellphone. My old phone has fell like a hundred times already and even fell in the swimming pool and got soaked but it's still good. It's not that stylish as my new phone but has good quality.

Of course, technology is far from perfect. This is something that we can expect to be a problem for years to come, until they find some way of send and receiving signals that don't get obscured by weather or objects, and if you ever watched Star Trek, that was even an issue for them from time to time.
The best thing to do in a situation like this, and like with your cable, I am doing a two for here, is to ask What is right about having it? What makes it right? What would be ideal? What will it take to take your ideal and make it real? What resources do you need to make it ideal?
It will take calling and what not. Of course, I may be biased, I haven't had a cell phone, since I moved somewhere the didn't receive service at all, sure the company tried to to me I did...but, well, lets just say, I knew better, and I paid the contract cancellation fee, saved me money in the end. As for the cable internet, your connection is most likely shared with your neighbors. DSL for what it is worth, is not. But, hey, my first internet was 28k......so, really I absolutely love high speed.
Cheers, I appreciate you, and remember, always, What is right? What makes that right?

Well the last service provider i had was a real pain, they overcharged me, customer care didn't reply properly, promised me to resolve my problems but didn't. They had a poor network and most of my calls got dropped. So i changed it and now have a better one.

My husband and I have been with Nextel for many years and about a year ago, after they became Sprint/Nextel, my husband was convinced to buy a Sprint phone when he called about upgrading his phone. The Customer Service rep assured him that we lived in an area where the Sprint coverage was great. When the phone arrived my husband could barely use it. I couldn't call him from across the room because I had full bars but he had half of a bar. I looked on the website and coverage in our area was scattered...almost none. I called Sprint/Nextel and they agreed to swap the Sprint phone with a Nextel phone at no charge to us. In fact, we ended up with a better phone for the same price. I don't know how long you've had your phone but look on the company's website and see what kind of coverage they have in your area. If it's not good, call them and complain. That might get you out of the contract. However, if the coverage is good in your area, there might be something wrong with your phone.

Yes. Worse cellphone service I've ever had was from a company called Altel. The reception was horrible, and I couldn't get it to pick up anywhere. I would have to do that thing where you walk around in circles, hold the phone up in the air, no down low, no over here, ok freeze right here. It was expensive too. I would use up $100 worth of phone calls in a couple hours. I wasn't calling the other side of the world, just someone down the street. They also were charging me for calls I never made, and when I went to complain about it, they said sorry sir the tower doesn't lie. I'm like "the tower?" And they just didn't want to help me at all. After the tower comment I left their service. I told them where they could put their fees.
