Thank You! I had friends telling me they thought this was real when it came out. To this day i can't believe I sat through the entire movie waiting for something "HUGE" to happen to never happen. I've seen alot of hyped movies that I didn't enjoy, but I can't think of a more hyped movie that ended up being pure...air.

Star Wars. Seriously. I just don't get it! I've tried watching them all, but I can't see what the fuss is all about and people go crazy at me when I admit it! People get so angry and defensive when I say I didn't like them, but I was so bored that I started playing a game of Monopoly while they were on. I'm hoping I don't get shouted down by some angry sci-fi-er now!

Maybe it's an age thing then. The film that had that effect on me was Jurassic Park. I was 11 when it came out and no one had seen anything like it before. It was aces.

I think the recently released Shah Rukh Khan starrer "My Name Is Khan" was a highly overrated movie.
The first half is fast paced and does interest you. The second half starts dragging and gets preachy. There is nothing which engages you and majority of the audience in the theater were yawning!!!

The first two that came to mind was Scream and The Sixth Sense. I rented Sixth Sense didn't know what the "surprise was" but I figured it out in the first five minutes so I wasn't shocked at the ending. I was more shocked people couldn't figure it out. One more Million Dollar Baby I was never convinced that Hillary Swank was a boxer. I was bored with her boxing scenes. I did enjoy her relationship with Clint Eastwood. Clint and Morgan are great in anything together I liked their characters. Just didn't think it was a great movie. It was alright.

For me it has to be Titanic. I didn't make it to the theater to see that one and waited until it came out on DVD. When the movie was finally over I was glad that I hadn't wasted my money on the tickets.. The other one would be Seven Pounds, I loved Will Smith's acting but I really did not like that movie at all, it seemed I ended up looking at it completely differently than almost everyone else did that saw it.

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” a seriously over hyped, one trick pony of a movie which only became popular due to so many fan boys jumping on a band wagon to proclaim it to be a great movie without knowing what a great movie is. It wasn’t a great movie, it had great effects but the rest of the movie was a repetitive monotony which went absolutely nowhere whilst also trading on the popularity of Brad Pitt to attract audiences.
