In this 21th century, everything starts with a lie and ends with a let...

The Biggest Lie in love in this 21st century is that it is supposed to be unselfish. But the truth is We love someone because they make US feel good. It is because WE ARE happy to be around them and do all that we can to keep them with us. The word LOVE is easily the most miused word today...it is self indulgent and no one ever does anything without any gain for themselves...can we ever love someone without thinking abt ourselves..our desires..our needs?? ...

Love is just word if you write in a piece of paper. But if you said it to a particular person who happens to have a deep impact and profound meaning in your life then that is already a very strong emotion. Love word has been abused by many
it's easy to say but hard to proved.
Yes there is lie in love if you said it to the person whom you are just trying to betray later. There is also lie in love if you are not saying it because you meant it. You just say it because it's needed by the occasion.

You have said it rightly "I love You' could be the biggest lie, in case only these three words are uttered. Love is needed to be felt by the parties involved.

Love is not a lie. I love my husband...he loves me...and I also love my children, his children and our grandchildren. My feelings for them are deep and strong. I would do just about anything for any one of them. That's not just thinking with my heart...that's also thinking with my brain.

At times, telling a lie is unavoidable and I believe its a case o case basis. But I think that cheating on your partner will be a one big lie and will remain a lie unless you get caught.

Aren't you too cynical when it comes to love? On my perspective, yes I was able to experience a relationship that started with a lie and ended with a lie. Though I was not the one who was able to discover it but at least I knew that even if I broke up with me, I was still able to know his deep dark secret through my present partner. I am not afraid of lies because at some point I have already learned my lesson and experience is the best teacher.

Love isn't a lie, its a biological response evolved to keep parents together while raising children. However, I truly believe that many people over-use the word love nowadays... Saying they love food or books or a hobby. To me, love is a feeling that is reserved for my husband, my children, and a few other people. When I talk to other people about something I enjoy, I might fall into the 'love' trap, but I try to avoid saying it about everything or everyone. This makes it all the more special when my loved ones hear me say 'I love you' to them.

To me love is not a lie, but it is a conviction. First you convince yourself that you love someone and then that conviction convicts you. Then you think you are in love, and swoon over the feelings that emanate later.
