As many of u know i have the greatest little grandson in the world in my opinion of course.this is not all about him this time altho he did ask my son yesterday where babies come from.. The look on his dad's face was worth a million dollars.
my good friend that lives across the street from me has also got the cutest little grandson. Her son called her yesterday morning & he told her the little one was mad at him. the baby wouldn't even talk to his mommaw who he adores. the reason he was mad his dad had cooked his frozen pancakes he wanted for breakfast. When my friend ask why that made him mad her son told her he wanted to eat them frozen, lol. Doesn't that sound good?? Has your child ever gotten funny ideas like that?

And I have the greatest, most perfect granddaughter! She is a true gift from God. Scripture says in Proverbs that a child's glory is his father, but the glory of a grandparent is his grandchild. This is so true. Abbey is my angelchild. She is tenderhearted and kind, generous, giving and sensitive. She is incredibly helpful and hardworking.
Of course, she is brilliant. Her sense of humor is amazing and she is a punster, a family trait. The other day, we were "hanging out" when she started to recite the childhood rhyme "One, two, buckle my shoe.... when she got to seven, eight, she said so sweetly "lose some weight". She so subtly showed her great love for her little chubby grammy, because she is concerned for my health.

I am still a good eight months away from being a mommy...but I adore kids. Last time I went to visit my mother at her place, my elder sister had sent her 2 year old daughter to have a stay with me. She is a very disciplined girl, one cutie pie. She used to sleep with me and one night she woke me up saying she wanted to have porridge and when I was done, she wouldnt even have one spoon ful, she wanted somehting else!!! I was so curious to watch her when she used to take my cosmetics and try to apply on her. She was so small, but understood that these were things to beautify oneself!!!
coming back from a long day after shopping, then to be greeted with her broadest smile and warmest hug was one thing which made the rest of the evening.
kids are wonderful!!!

Having NO grand children yet, Jo! It's not often I am around "tykes" except when I care for Lucas...and he is NOW a wise little man of SEVEN! He carries on some pretty mature conversations...and I go WOW!But I think daily, when T.J. was little he caused me to have a good chuckle.
Our wonderful streak of sunshine is about to end...darn! It has been so beautiful out...now come the rains!
You sure kicked our butt in Hockey last nite....TEAM USA's goalie was awesome, and they should have pulled ours in the first 41 seconds...right after the first goal...oh well, maybe we'll get another kick at you...LOL! Sure am enjoying the Olympics, some I have to watch on the computer...as having NO cable..I only get one channel and it is covered on tthree channels. Hope you are enjoying them, too as I know you are a sports enthusiast. Take care..LUV & BIG HUGZ!

I am sorry that you have missed the Figure Skating..I just got up at midnight to
re-watch the Dance.
I had seen it earlier in the night...but had to re-watch...as FINALLY we have ripped the OLYMPIC GOLD & SILVER medals out of the hands of the Europeans! It was fantastic....The first time the Gold & Silver was won in North America, a combined blessing...CANADA- Gold..U.S.-Silver...What a combined effort! Both teams had the same coaches, and trained together...WOW!
Now I am wondering if I can get back to sleep as I also had a coupla cups of coffee..and a coupla cigs. Wished we could have watched together! HUGZ & LUV!!!

I haven't really gotten into the olympics like i usually do. I watched the tennessee girls play basketball last night instead of watching the olympics. i'm keeping up w/them from the news.i use to always watch the figure skating but haven't even done that. ol' bad me.

Ye I agree...kids today are far more intelligent that yesteryear.
They are funny too...because of their innocents. My son like his milk cold all the time and I think this is not funny...cold foods are not always good for kids.

Hi, I have a son of 4 year old and like other kids he is very cute and funny many times kids ask us some question and we can't stop to have smile in our lips, I remembered one incident I tell you. Before 1 and half year back when my son was two and half year old he said me "Papa I loosed my ball I said okay ! we will buy a new one but he refused to buy it from shop he told I saw a big ball last night in the sky and I want only that ball to play, brings that for me...........he is talking about Moon." isn't a funny idea.

tHAT IS A PRECIOUS STORY. tHANKS FOR SHARING IT. They pretty much think at that age parents & grandparents can do anything. It's a shame that doesn't last through their teenage years when they think u know nothing, lol. Thanks for your response.

our two year old son seems to be the smartest but the most active of all of our kids. he's super duper active. someone told me that he could have ADHD but the doctors told us that with his age, it is normal, though i can't seem to find his hyperactivity with other kids of his age. one example of his smartiness and hyperactivity is how he watch michael jackson's mtv's and he will dance like mj in front of the tv. i have a youtube video in my profile of him doing billie jean.

LOL..I bet dad was shifting around..hehe..I told my girls it was a special hug between a mom and a dad that made a baby..at least when they were that age. Later we had to go into a bit more detail but it was a comfortable answer that staisfied them at the moment. It wasn't a lie either..lol..My daughter decided to make her own Ramen noodles once in the microwave and because she didn't want a lot of soup in it, she decided that it didn't need water. I had quite the stinky mess in my microwave after that. It took a week for it to smell right again..LOL.

Thank you. If you watch many commercials on television, which I don't, they use children on some of them and that's what makes them cute. I feel like they think people will watch them if they use children. I also think they're cute when they use puppies or kittens, lol! Kathy.

Kids are funny. They do many random things that make everyone laugh. They ask something they are curious about, or just do something they see on tv which usually makes people laugh. My little cousin does some very funny things. He would always do something funny or copy something someone does which is funny. And he would always say the most randomest things. He is always there to make people laugh.

It doesn't sound very yummy to me, my butter would not melt. I have to wonder who got him started on that, or did he discover it somehow all on his own? I guess next time Dad will just have to leave them frozen. It seems kind of weird, but who knows what goes on in the mind of the kid. You and your friend maybe need to have grandkid books where you write this all down.

Ha!ha!ha! Frozen pancake! How would that taste? Kids are the funniest people in this world without them knowing it! I think the best way to satisfy that kid is to buy new frozen pancake and then let him eat as it is... as he wished. Well let us see how well he would like the frozen cake!

yes thats true the kids are very funny but while still kids coz some of them become rebellious when they grow up and often become a problem to their parents maybe because they already have their own mind to follow thinking wht they know is right so proper care and advise still be needed for growing up children.

kids are funny and intelegence
we some times feel not good of our kids, because we may think they are still small, when we suffer a situation we will find the good response from them.
if we try to put thim in a problem and let them to solve , we then will find something not in our mind,
a man told me a story.
a teacher said to his student, are you show your god, students avswered no.
the teacher then said, so god is not found, then an intelegent student said, are you saw your brain, the teacher said, no.
the student said so your brain is not found.
can we learn any thing from this kid?
