Is Anyone Else Having A Problem Posting Discussions?

I have tried at least three times now to post a discussion about photographs I have taken in the past. I uploaded the photographs (one at a time) onto my computer but only one of them has loaded onto my profile. Then I tried to post a discussion about my photos with another one of my pics and was told something like "unable to post content..blah-de-blah."
Is this happening to anyone else or just me?

i am not having the picture problems that you are, but i am having a problem with the amount of time it takes for the page to move, either when i am posting a discussion or putting up a comment it seems to take a long time for the page to transition from one to the next.
perhaps we need to clean out the cookies from our browsers, maybe that would help, although i have not tried to often to add pictures it that usually an easy process?

timhinyy I am also having a time loading responses they just hang and it takes as much as two or more minutes at times, sometimes when it finally says add tags in the heading above I goose it by hitting reload and it takes me to the add tags finally. then usually thats only a few seconds.
I sent a contact to mylot admins complaining about the very slow loading as it might just be a mylot problem instead of ours.

i just want to make sure i have things running as smoothly as possible on my end not sure if i had cleaned my browser out in a long time, but my computer is pretty fast so it should not be going this slowly unless their is a problem somewhere else or the site is having problems.

My discussions seem to be OK (like this one) but whenever a photograph is involved...NO CHANCE! I will try again on Monday, see if that works! Thanks for the advice from both of you, it is much appreciated. I shall see what transpires tomorrow!

janey1966 I wonder if you had the same problem I had a while back when I wanted to change my avatar. I did every thing right but the picture I wanted to change to was not a jpeg but a tif file, and it seems that mylot does not load tif files or some of the others, it has to be a jpeg for some reason. check your photos to see, I am told mylot does not load bitmaps either so see the ending on your photos. this might be the

Many thanks for the advice, I am sure my pics are jpeg files (as they have been in the past on this site) but I'm wondering if it's the software with this new, hideous Lexmark printer we have and its software? It wasn't my idea to get it, believe me...it was the in-laws (who else) that bought it at a knock-down price. If it's as bad as theirs (also a Lexmark but a different model) we're in for some fun!

The picture I was posting into interests end up posted into discussion not related to the picture. I was thinking that it happened only for me....

Well, what I plan to do is to try the site on Monday sometime. You never know, it may have been a weekend glitch or something. I know when I first started on here I couldn't post anything AT ALL, not even discussions WITHOUT PHOTOS!!

I've run into that problem before, but haven't in the past few days.
I don't knw what causes it, but it IS annoying, isn't it?

It is VERY annoying, I agree. Especially when I've loaded pics before without any problems. I might try again later but then again I might not as I've just received a MyLot notification about deleting one of my comments because the discussion had been deleted I was commenting ON. How annoying! I think it's going to be one of those weeks!

Could it be that I have tried to post photographs that are in frames on walls? I tried uploading one again but to no avail. It's all very odd! I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it though, lol.

it also happened to me the first time i tried posting on photos. even if i completed all the boxes that needs description still it's not accepted. i really don't know the reason behind it then, but when i tried it in a different PC i was able to make it.

Hiya Winky! Well at least I can still start discussions and respond to others, which is what I've done since Day One. I will probably try the "photographs" thingy another time, there's no rush. It does have its quirks, the lovely MyLot, just like we do I suppose!

i never tried posting a picture yet. and i dont know how it works. i mean im talking about the earnings in images. i can read that theres also earnings on it but i dont know how. maybe if you left comments on the picture same as we left comment on the post. i guess so hehe

I'm afraid I'm no expert on the subject either although I'm sure people who have been here the longest know EVERYTHING about this site lol.
